Snapped the main stem bad

Wondering ifthis will tape back together ok

More then likely it will repair itself just tape her up I usually take a small piece of electric or duct tape and wrap only 3/4 so I dont choke the stem out...

I have had worse recover.

Take a small wire tie and connect the two broken pieces together by tying them about 2" above the break to keep them from breaking again. In a week or 2 it will be healed and likely stronger than before. Happy Growing

As the two suggested above splint it together either with tape or wire ties. Either way it doesnt look too bad. The branch will wilt for a couple days but come back strong.

I'd cover with electrical (plastic) tape, allow for some stretch.

you can usually tell if a snap is a permanent break if the leaves go very limp (usually by about 6 hours later), like not watered for two weeks limp, if that happens then the damage is probably too severe, but from that picture, i'd bet my wallet that you'll be fine, that's not too bad, I knew an old hippie grower that beat the living crap outta his veged plants, damage just like yours, only on purpose, and his plants had the "woodiest" stems
