Small plants after switch to HPS

Hi all.
I’m only on my third grow so lots to learn still.
I recently upgraded my 70x70cm to a 120x120cm grow tent.
my existing LED light did t cover anywhere near the area so I’ve bought a 600w HPS kit which is running a 600w dual spectrum bulb.
The plants are now 3-4 weeks but as you can see from pics they’re really short (about 15-20cm) although there are quite a few nodes theyre densely packed.
With my LED the plants were a LOT taller.
Should i be worried?
You’ll also see the leaves were folding. I think that was the lights being too close and hot so I’ve raised them from 2ft above plants to about 3ft so hopefully that’ll help.
Any advice would be appreciated.
They are Fast Buds Purple Lemonade and Gorilla Cookies. Both auto feminised.
Temps are 28C day and 18C night on 18/6. Humidity is around 50%. I cant really reduce temperatures any more though i think theres plenty circulation.
Cheers

Just a single bulb. Omega 600w HPS.
I’ll back the light off a little bit more and see how they do over the next couple of days.
thanks
that light will get you a nice harvest just when it comes time to switch dont be afraid to lower it i run about 16 inches above the canopy

Autos are usually short & stacked. Tall stretched plants aren’t ideal anyways ya cant smoke stalks. They looking good by the way

They’re looking great.
What medium are you growing in.?
Miracle-Gro organic soil mixed with 40% perlite.
In the first week I accidentally watered them with full strength nutrients and almost killed them..
The photos of them plants almost dead are from November 30th.
The green photos are from two days ago.

I have a post up called "a few messed up plants"
That post shows how we saved those plants.
