Small Legal Medical Garden Dairy Queen, Sour Kush, Ace of spades and JTR for starters

Things have been going well since getting the tent light proofed and the girls into flower. We are now 12 days in and it's Poppin over here. I have been using the X Nutrients line after getting a free sample so I decided to continue on by getting the grow spray and bloom spray. I have given them the full measure of 15 ml per gal micro nutrients and 20 ml per gal bloom nutes 2x per week. I have also been hitting them with the bloom spray 2x per week. I am also supplementing between nutrient feedings with molasses and some floralicious. I will be adding Big Swell to the mix in a week or two. I got a free sample from my local hydro store. I will speak more about it later after reading the label it sounds pretty interesting.

Thanks Grojak, the first DQ I have listed above is going to be huge! A friend got 5.8 z's of cured meds from his. It is still growing steady the other DQ has slowed down since last feeding but is stacking nicely so far. I just gave another feeding of nutes tonight after a light feeding of molasses and floralicious and the next one straight water. They get something every third day so far. Tonight I fed 15 ml X Nutrients micro and 20 ml X Nutrients bloom and 5 ml of Big Swell per gallon @ 4 gallons mixed. They took 3.5 gallons total I was close but will remember to mix a little less next time.
The Big Swell is by Aurora Soul Synthetics and is listed as 2-5-3 NPK Derived from Yucca Extract, Mollasses, , pure evaporated sugar cane extract, Phosporic acid, Potasium Hydroxide and L-Glycine. Also contains non plant food extracts 0.01% bamboo extract and 0.01% Green Tea Extract. Sounds like an interesting mix. I will need to trim them up a little more since I won't be getting deep light penetration until I am able to invest in some HPS and additional cooling.
Oh and I think I will be giving away that sweet little haze. It may do better if given proper lighting. I have been pushing it to the back since I have a 2' x 2' open space in the 4x4 tent something needs to sit there and it has drawn the short straw again and again. The dye off is turning a moist black color. To me it looks like a possible mold problem waiting to happen.

I just gave away 2 of the AOS to a fellow patient. He provided me with a full unopened bottle of alcohol tinc so it was more or less a trade.
I kept 3 AOS for the next round. I hope to narrow it down to 2 keepers but if I have the room I will run all 3.
Along side 2 of the DQ or possibly a sour kush. Hmmm """ I will need another tent. Damn space restraints.

I needed more room in the nursery / closet anyway. I plan to pop some seeds that a friend gave me (One of his first crosses I believe F2?).
Both cuts are Dank as hell so I know I can't go wrong with them.
The cross is Purple Heart x JTR (Hope it's his Jack Frost cut). I will start out with 10 seeds for now. He gave me a full 30!!-~~~~ ;') thanks Play...

I will be trying to take notes and describe the different phenotypes if I can. Wow I am medicated. Need to get up and clean the nursery. Giving it a good scrub and bleach water misting today.

Dq's yea the bushy funky smelling one is probably similar to my funky bitch, doesn't grow any taller (in fact typically a little shorter) than the Lemonade pheno I have but it packs on weight where as the lemonade one is a lot less dense.

I started 3 bag seeds a while back 2 bubble berry x unknown and 1 JTR x unknown (came from subcools garden got it at an event, so that narrows down the fathers). For all those that jock him on here, yea he sold weed with seeds, another guy there got some plush berry with seeds. One BB i chopped, 1 i flowered and it harmed after about 15 days, the JTR is still going strong, no signs of hermie. Being that it is a TGA strain I'm going to hit it with one of the Deep Purple fathers (I popped 5 seeds figure to get at least 1 male) JTR has Space Queen genetics and Deep Purple is 25% Space Queen (assuming it's F1) so that should be a good cross, hell if the plants good I'll backcross it, it it's not I'll put the JTR x DP beans aside for awhile.

I am getting ready to put these fine specimens into my next rotation! They will be going into the root riots any day now. I hope to find some . I love both the mother and the father so it's in there, just need to find it.

Oban is running these as well, said he can't remember growing anything with this much vigor.

Lighting update: I will be installing a 400 watt HPS soon. A fellow patient / caregiver offered to let me borrow it.

Wow, I am Loving the 400 watt HPS. I am running it and my 4 foot 8 bulb T5 mixed spectrum 4 red 4 blue. It's working out good so far. I don't think the 400 would be enough alone but maybe it would not really sure so I plan on running both fixtures through flowering. I am noticing many unproductive areas that I should have trimmed off already. Anyone have any advice on trimming or not trimming? I am on week 2 of flowering it has been 4 weeks since dropping to 12 x 12 lighting schedule.

Whenever you trim it slows production cause the plant is busy in shock and repair mode. If you do trim its better to trim all at once rather than trimming alittle bit every week. If you can't lsd it out of the way then trim.

Thank You for the reply, I will tag what I want to get rid of all at once and try to keep the damage to a minimum. It really isn't anything that I am able to move out of the way it's just unproductive small side branches that are buried under the canopy and bugging me.

I typically trim a few days before moving a plant into flower, I trim off the lower growth that is likely to be unproductive, I than trim once more around day 14 of flowering, by this time the plant has stretched and typically has some new undergrowth to get rid of, sometimes it's hard to take off some branches or after 2 week a week branch looks decent, I don't trim this stuff I save it for making hash... My DQ for instance, it has some lower branches that end up putting out decent size buds I can't trim those.

Thanks Grojak, I will most likely trim a bit more next time. Here are a few new pictures of the DQ and Sour Kush. The fist 2 are of the sweeter DQ pheno, I didn't get a close up of the other one yet. The third picture is a close up of the Reserva Pravada Sour Kush. The fourth photo is of the tent the sweet DQ and sour kush are on the left hand side and the Stankier crazy branching DQ is on the right. I plan on working this pheno as a scrog sooner or later! Got that bamboo on stand by waiting for some weight!

Funky setup, makes sense though, I almost did the same thing with my 400w hps and 8 bulb T5 but decided to keep the T5 as a veg light, they all look nice.

I have a Jack the Ripper x unknown bag seed going it has the single curved down leaves of your sour kush, I thought it went herm when I first saw it.

I think anything with JTR should be decent Grojak. Not positive but the turned down sugar leaves may be a sign that it is romulan dominant. I germinated 10 seeds of a cross that a local caregiver bred and donated to me PH (purple heart) x JTR (jack the ripper). I started with 10 seeds on 07/09 I think. So far 7 have sprouted, 2 still have not kicked the shell but the tap roots are showing and it looks like one either needs more time or may not make it at all.

Crazy following a thread a guy is close to chopping his JTR at like 50 days, mines looking like a 10 week, no orange hairs and minimal resin production at day 52

Damn that is crazy, is it a hazy type of pheno?

Update things are going well but I have had a few bumps in the road so to speak. The sweet (cindy dom pheno) got burnt pretty badly. The leaves sucked up into a taco and the next day were crispy and mustard yellow as can be. I then drown the damn thing with straight H20 and it started to deteriorate. The next day was really humid and I for got to keep by inline fan going all day instead of 20 minutes per hour. Just about all the leaves wilted, curled up and died. Leaving me with the most horrible smelling disgusting sight ever. I trimmed what I could and have been hitting it with the fan over the last few days. I mean it's ok but I don't think the calyx' will recover. There are very few and they are small. My first impression of this pheno is that it has a very high leaf to calyx ration. Of course it could be mistake on my part. It doesn't drain well to begin with. These photos were taken on 07/13. As of right now they have a lot less leaf.
