well with as little information as you provided i cant say anything really other then it looks like a healthy starter a week from breaking ground isnt bad at all considering the fact that root growth is more active during that time then vegetative growth is

I just expected it to be a bit faster than what it is. considering the humic acids that are in the mix. Im sure your right, its working on spreading out the roots and hopefully will take off soon.

from personal experience thats what it seems like roots will flourish if in a healthy environment way before the vegetative growth. on another note whats your PH at?

if its 6.5 your doing perfect was just curious because the stem seems really purple which can be signs of early deficiencies

and the purple wouldnt be a P def it would be manganese or magnesium def cant remember wich one it is dont treat for ether tho until you know because treating for one of thos makes the other worse

i would personally wait to see what happens if it continues to show purple stems throughout the first month of veg growth id check into it other then that just let it grow imho

think mabey it's genetics? purple stem I mean. also you guys don't think it has a bit of a blue hue to the leaves?

as i stated earlier its best to wait and see what happens further into veg at the moment throwing things at it left and right trying to fix a problem that might not even be a problem is a bad idea imho

That's the slowest part for me in hydro. It didn't used to be,I don't know what I've forgotten.
I've got 1 not quiet that big 'bout a month old it just started taking off, now purple stem is gone & it's growing good.
Last time same way ended up producing the most I've had.

the soil was a tab on the dry side so I did give it some water but there is soooo much drainage its impossible for me to overwater in this medium. That could be the cause of the purple. o-well time will tell soon enough.
