Yeah..i actually water every time with plenty of water at this stage.In order to have a good run off and eliminate any dry spots.The thing is that i was watering good enough but a ph of 8 ,would definitely make it hard for iron to get picked up.I had no other def all the way,besides some N as well(which was really easy to spot since bottom yellow leaves were fallin' off).I'll get this Ph down,and the fertilizer i'm using has iron in it.It should be fine ;)

qroox wether you grow hydro or soil when you have a deficiency the flush should always be first thing to do.. For myself cause I grow mostly hydro I seldom need supplements other than my normal feeding. In soil you just may? But start with flush and ph..

Hey I just had after thought about your water. I don't know where you live , but where I'm at my tap ppm jumped up like 100ppm and ph also went up quite a bit.. I don't know if that's due to the cold or personally I think it's cause our county Rez is getting scaresly low.. I had to install an RO system couple weeks ago cause my plants got hella sick.

Have a nice day yourself..!! I was puffing all day yesterday,so i should not complain workin' a lilttle ;) . I think we're many many miles away..I live in Greece.I do as well believe that water Ph and EC changes ragarding temperature,season..i can't even think half of the factors that control this change.As i've been told,our city water is one of the finnest qualities in Europe ( some countries,with 400% our economy) can't drink their tap water.RO system will cost a little too much now,and my first goal is another growtent,3 times this one and maybe 4-6 plants per cycle..or a little more than 6 clones.I'll have to experiment on this one.Got any ideas on how to keep that soil near 7(besides watering with Phed water ?) I am watering with rainwater when it's availabe but,it is sunny right now and it has been like that a couple of weeks now..


And naw man the cookies was an indoor.. I havnt had an outdoor harvest in two years..

Outdoors sounds so much fun..Our climate here helps a lot,too bad it's illegal ^^ ..and most of all..It's free :D

I wasn't reccamending an RO for you. For soil grows it can actually be a bad idea.. For myself it is a must tho.. That's cool you have clean water cause I won't drink my tap. As far as keeping your ph dialed, you already said it in another post. Lemon!

Yep.Hydro seems interesting but it's another world right now.My soil (biobizz light - mix or all-mix) comes at 6.2-6.5..I've never even tested my ph till days ago when the Iron Def appeared but i'd like to have it where the plant's want me to have it.I was referring to gardening lime..which on it's label says that it raises the Ph but 1.0.How would you do it ? Add some lemon to acidify the water and just water..??

I forget the ratio to use but its very little lemon to lower it if I remember correctly. If your ph is at 6.2-6.5 now then your good anyways. I like growing in soil, but I normally don't use nutes when I do. Nor do I Ph the water every time. Thats just me tho cause I like my soil plants as fresh and organic as possible.
Hey how old are your plants?

I was never being careful regarding Ph . I had a meter tho and i tested it when i saw this Iron def.7.3 two days ago.I have trouble finding all the essential elements to make a super soil.I would love to use nothing or something once in a while but it's not going to work.I buy it at 6.2-6.5 but my 8.0 water changes the stuff.. :D . Also when i'm adding nutes,it drops to 7.3.Have you ever seen an Iron def with too much N or P ? I went double dose of 10-3-7+micros,which should not be that bad.They are 51 days in flower.

Lol lime you missed the party bro..!

And hey qroox if your that late in flower you NPK count is off.. You should have a much higher P count and lower N. Pretty much if you flip those numbers you will be better off in flower. Now those numbers in veg, good!

I was kinda losing lower leaves..they were turning yellow and fall off..That should be N missing there..I am aware that a ratio of 1-3-2 during flower is really good,and there is nothing wacked about it ..0-55-42 or w/e some people use.Using this ratio(1-3-2) is something that i will definitely do myself on a side by side grow..Test it..I've got to fix that one for now..And it's actually today , day 52.Watered and did not feed anything..added some chelated iron according to it's cover directions..Not much of a change tho.I gotta keep an eye on these next days..

You'll get it..! I hate when I develop issues late in flower. Heck, I'm going thru it now on my misfit scrog grow. Way too many strains trying to share the same food.. Oh well, I said I would never do it again and I did and now I'm paying the price. Lol normally I only rant on my page..

Yeah.I'm crossing fingers for that :D . Sounds like a bummer..different strains..different needs :D . It's ok,sharing thoughts and experiences is what i'm up for.. ;).52 days today..i dont know how much more i should wait :D

Well good you don't mind. I'm famous for having little random outbursts.. Good thing is if you pay attention most the time you can take some good away from it all..
Lol I just got called out by this chick I'm growing with. I said do what I say not as I do.. I'm always gonna fuck up in my space cause that's what the lab is for... Trying new things and learning from my mistakes.. I said this co-op is the bread and butter where we take all the wisdom learnt in the lab and turn it to profit.. Lime and Mo know how I'm always flipping things up..

When we learn we grow, and when we grow the plants will follow.. Let's see if the Charlie and the Sour Patch kids will prove that true.
