Loving the week 4 swell, everyday wake up to more swelled caylaxs or whatever they are called.
Starting to have to leave my carbon filter on 24/7 because of the smell.

Went back to MH/HPS combo

Week 5: Colas closer to the light are budding up real real nice, all side colas look half a week to a week behind but they will catch up.
Some fan leaves are having some problems but still 80% nice and green. I'm not too concerned as long as my buds are good.

Looks like a little nute burn too. Mine was super finky when I left her unattended for a week. Although I am in Aero and it requires every other day maintenance at a minimum. She is recovering nicely now though.

Yeah oddly enough the nute burn came in after I toned down the nutes like suggested from some growers on here.
So maybe there was a lot of left over nute in the pot already.

She is doing great, I wanted to leave her 2 weeks after suggest by the breeders but she is looking like she is coming closer and closer everyday.
Top 4 colas have milky trichomes already which is what I want headies, but I might just have to make due with lock if the trichomes change 4 weeks from now.

You could always stagger your harvest. i.e. Take the tops wait a week, take the midds, wait a week, finish up. <---not an exact timeline but you get what I'm trying to say.

For sure, I don't mind losing some weight because it's all personal I don't sell anything.
I'll see how it looks next week, if I start seeing amber on top colas I might harvest 1-2 to save specifically for headies and let the rest settle another few weeks.

24/7 Carbon filter on, and I can smell her out of the room (Which isn't a good thing for me lol)

I love the smell but I hate that it eats my carbon filter up, or maybe I need a new one? But I haven't even had it for 6 months.

Love your buds, still a long way off for mine. Have you grown many kush strains before? I wanted to grow some out next round but can't have smell. I am growing some white widdow skunk now and I know I'm going to have to put in some air freshner because they smell so much and it's only veg, have carbon filter which is working well, but strong smell every time I open grow door.

lol i started from the last page and read the posts from last to when i found out it was not the skywalker grow. i almost went back and took away my likes when i found out it was barney's farm and not RP. i am not a barney's farm fan since a whole pack of 10 red diesel reg. beans were all duds.

even though i love barney's bluecheese, i am still butthurt over the red diesel beans.

you have done a great job with your grow and i will sub up awaiting the skywalker kush grow.

I suggest getting ona gel if your carbon filter is not doing its job and do two things.

A) Swish ona gel all in the ventilation ducts and let it stay there and eventually dry. (When it drys and the air comes out, it smells like fresh laundry)

B) Take some ona gel and put it on window sills and other areas where air might blow and throw your cannabis smell everywhere. For me this is usually window sill and under my door where air escapes.

Ona gel does wonders and I love it.
I'm tempted to pour a little in my carbon scrubber for added effect.

I actually normally only grow Kush strains, I love them. I tend to grow other strains from time to time, especially in the winter when seedbanks do promos.

She was just under 3 1/2 feet when I made the flip, maybe a little closer than I think to 4ft.
I FIMed at 1 month 1 week.
I supercropped only a few branches to see the difference it made during flower, and I can see a difference because some branches are extra bushy while some are a little spaced out.
I also supercropped the top colas closest to the light a few times 1 week before flower and 2 weeks after flowering began.

I plan on running this strain again in the future, don't know when yet.
I will be doing the same procedure only with more care and more aggressive to see what a real monster it can become.
Topping at least 3 times, FIMing twice, doing a ton of supercropping and lollipopping anything that won't get light.

First of all thanks for the reply back and the info...Forgot to ask how tall is your tent I have a small 5 foot tent so I'm thinking of topping it at week 3 and then fimming and super cropping around week 5 and then flowering a week later..what you think? I'm using a 500 watt led with proper ventilation same strain. O and roughly how much did you yield off that one plant cause I'll be doing one but it wont get as big I think. Thank You.

You should check out this dudes vids on youtube calls him self the 420 guy , 420 guide or something like that..heres a link http://www.youtube.com/user/Grow420Guide/videos this guys got nice vids on topping and supercropping and fimming by nice i mean he provides follow ups and performs a shit load of experiments so you may be able to pick up something though his mistakes and what not.

Top 2 main colas at the top of my plant were chopped down last week and it is dry today. I wanted a stash of head high.
I know I haven't updated in a long time with pictures, I lent my camera to a friend who has yet to return it and is now on leave for a few days.
Almost all fan leaves are now purple very dark, the buds are still green very compact and dense.
Anyway the two top main colas weighed 1 1/4 Oz. (Which are not even close to the biggest colas on the plant)
I still have the entire plant left which is a little more than 22 colas to harvest. This plant had so many colas they won't all finish in the same time.
I gave them a lot more time because I wanted to get all the popcorn nugs really dense before I chop them.

I will update with pictures this week hopefully.

Sorry I haven't been able to update because my buddy hi-jacked my camera and now I can't upload anything but text.

Long story short here is the rundown.

I harvested about 1 week early (I think it could have swelled some more, it surprised me every other day)
I'm having unexpected company this entire month and didn't want any issues so took everything down.
She was VERY dense and hard with lots of foxtailing, near the end she started to purple at the tops but buds remained green.
It took my 6 hours to completely trim this bitch from top to bottom, and that's not including popcorn nugs (I just chopped and threw those in a basket)
everything else was properly trimmed and cut, leaving very very minimal leaves.

It has been a few days since they dried up and are in jar today.
Total I have just under 8 1/2 Oz's with no giant stems or large colas, everything was cut down to just large nugs.
It smells amazing and taste the same, the smell is more of a fruity starburst smell with a earthy back tone.
The taste is very smooth and almost sweet with a very good hint of kush in it, it surprised me as I expected more of a harsh taste from fresh cut (I tasted when they were wet)
I'll definitely be filing this strain under grow again, and better next time. She has a lot of potential and I didn't push her but next time!

Everything will be jarred up for about 1 1/2 months, then I'll probably begin to smoke some.
For now I have a nice amount of ice hash to keep me company and lots of popcorn nugs I'll either bake into something or bubble bag.

In a few weeks I'll probably start a VS. journal. I don't know where breeder yet but I'm leaning towards DNA Vs. Reserva Pravada
