i dont have a ph meter, for the water, i fill up a spray bottle, leave it uncovered for a day, that way, and chlorine or whatever will dissipate, and the water should have a better ph, but then again, all depends on the state of the water in the first place, where i live, the water ph level is quite good already. For the soil, it would be a good choice, but I mean, millions of people grow weed without ph meters, as long as you dont add too many nutes, and flush it now and then, u should be ok. Loads of people will say get one, and yeah, it would benefit the grow, but i dont think its a necessity tbh

im worried if its overwatering, which i doubt it, that if i water it, incase its underwatering, itl create a worse effect lol. also the cotyledons look quite yellow today, compared to last night when i checked, when there was no discolouration

Hey pixie, can i get a picture of the container it's in real quick? try to show the bottom of the pot/bucket/cup and the condition of the soil currently. I'll try to help

Just take personal objects and reflective things out of the picture, put it up against a blank wall and you'll be fine.

I would make sure there is adequate drainage, and do a peroxide flush. If you're not familiar with how to do that let me know. Either you're overwatering and depriving the roots of oxygen or there's something going on with the root health.

hey, il just go and get a pic in a min. incase it was underwatering, gave it a thorough watering, and also, as the soil settled further down, leaving more of the stem uncovered, i packed a lot of soil at the top, to go to the top of the pot

whoa, talk about quick change! 15 mins ago, was looking sick, drooped to the ground. Think it was def underwatered, as I gave it a proper drink, packed the soil up to the top, and went to check on it just now, and low and behold, the leaves are standing up, looking perky again. one leaf is bending ever so slightly upwards, think i may have overwatered it slightly lol, but hey, il not give it water for a few more days, im just really pleased its perked up again, didnt expect it to be this quick! there is a pic here that shows the bottom of the pot, as requested :)P1010321.jpgP1010322.jpgP1010320.jpgP1010318.jpgP1010319.jpgP1010323.jpgP1010324.jpg

yehh. droopy leaves usually=over under watering. glad it got sorted out. you should probably water more than every few days. i watered mine indoors every day, my soil permeability may have been different than yours though.

im amazed how quickly it sorted out though, didnt expect that quick at all, it was like the plant has said ahhh a drink, just what i needed lol. i havent watered often, as i was worried about overwatering. think il start watering every second day, well, all depends on how quick it dries up. should have used the soil that ive used today from the start, instead of part fill with it, just use that totally, never mind though

its completely drained out by the looks of it, i filled it with water straight from the tap, let the excess water drain off, and put it back in the grow box, more water did leak out, as my dvd cases are soaked lol, but not too bothered, it was only stephen kings it, not my fav movie lol. Judging by the leaf curling slightly upwards now, im prob going to have the opposite problem lol. im pleased to see the second set of leaves perk up, and look more swollen, full of life, and that all the leaves have grown more

to answer your question, rather than go off on a tangent lol, i havent got a drip tray. may put a plate underneath though, to get the roots to search for water more

arghh, just checked, the leaves are drooping again! obviously, def not an underwatering issue this time, think it most likely is because ive gave the soil a good soaking, as the leaves look full still, not lifeless
il leave it for now, check on it tomorrow night, see what its like then
