Look for the SN3 to foxtail some before it's ready. Everything looks kickass man. Believe it or not, I expect your harvest weight between the 2 & 3 to be pretty close. The 3 is bigger, but the 2 is like a fireplug - probably has tons of interior buds frosty as hell too. Nice job sir.

Exactly right..2 only has 4-5 main tops, that are dense and frosty with many side nugs that are dense and frosty also..haha

For example, last night I found very nice side nugs that I didn't even realize existed!

While 3 is a monster with ALL BIG tops and hardly any popcorn or side flowers.

How weird?!...lol

I'm all for "medicinal cannabis" so I'd recommend waiting until fully "ripe" for the truest representation of those beautiful plants you're working with!!!

Agreed. The longer the better in my opinion (within reason). If the breeder says 65 days, its most likely going take the full 65 or more for it to reach its full potential. Unless your a wizard, in which case it may only take 35.

Going to have to agree with both of these fine growers...
I think of it like a fruit...never would you pick it before it is fully ripe, or you would risk eating a very bitter fruit. If you pick a bud early you risk a short-lived or lack-luster high from your cannabis.
Generally the buds will have a "look" about them (outside of the obvious changes to amber trichomes) to where they look very full and tight. All hairs have receded, and have "hugged" into the bud.

I say wait until you have a good 20-25% amber, and the buds have a "ripened" look to them, but that is just me. (completely IMO)

Yeah, pick it when you perceive it as fully ripe. Worst case, you lose some of the aroma by waiting awhile longer....

Hey...just wanted to thank everybody for viewing this long ass thread..

Glad I waited to , chop...as some significant weight has been added in the last 24 hours...

So much, that the SN3 tops are now really really only being hells up by my scrog net...they are weaved under, then resting atop the next net..

2 has done the same...her mains are LEANINg significantly more, and the buds are getting very very white at the tips..

Just waiting for some amber to peek thru and the calyxes to swell on the SN 3 tops..

Let me say...” Holy Shit”... The bulk put on in the last 36-48 hours is damn near astonishing.

All mains(especially on the #2 pheno) were standing up nice and tall at full attention, now they have bulked up and leaning everywhere...lol.... So I've sort of manipulated them to lean towards the light...

Ummm. Open to suggestions to find a way to hold these leaning mains up??

The challenge is the fact is the two plants are very Amazon-esque...Huge and lots of branches scrog'd all over the place,

I really didn't know what I was doing when I first scrog'd everything in..

Or I could just let em lean... I'm thinking Saturday morning is the target day to cul both SN phenos..

It would be the official 62nd day... I am monitoring trichome, calyx, pistil maturation diligently...

Ahhh... Aroma has kinda morphed into a diesel type smell, but retained the citrus...the sweet kind of dissipated, making way for the diesel stank...

As far as surprising me come harvest, hell, you already have! Every photo is pretty surprising my friend. You are killin' it!



If you need more support, run down to the hydro store and pick up some bamboo, and a package of green twist tie. You can support almost anything with those two things, LOL!

How the hell have I not ran across this awesome thread until now. Oh. It's in the Co section. Impressive work you're doing Dabs. Your shatter is some of the most outstanding looking stuff I've seen, and your flowers are dense and healthy. :::subbed:::

I'd also say that bamboo is the way to go, but if most of your branches are scrog'ed out to far away, you may want to buy that clear/green plant tape and tie them to the ceiling bars. I personally would just go with the bamboo though, cus I think its ugly as hell when people got 50 different strings or ribbons hanging down from the ceiling. But hey, whatever does the trick right?
