Single Seed Center to USA. Taking long time....

It's been about 2 weeks. The tracking number on the European side said that they sent it over to USPS. USPS says it's still in Europe, and hasnt been sent yet. It's been like that for about 10 days.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Delay (package) Post inbound for USA by temporary measure U.S. Homeland Security Department

Since the increased security measures for air transport of mail and postal parcels to the United States, your mail and packages weighing more than 500 grams destined for the United States no longer will transported by air. This measure applies to postal operators worldwide so we are forced to divert to alternative possibilities. This means a delay in delivery times for your shipments. The transit time is increased by up to a maximum of two weeks.
As a big part of our orders is being shipped via European mainland, as long this measure will be enforced, we will ship large parcels (over 500 grams) via sea freight (by boat) to the USA. All orders containing items being shipped from inside the USA (like color changing glass among others) will not be affected by this new measure.
We apologize fort this delay, but also hope on your understanding as these circumstances are beyond our control. We will do anything to speed up your delivery and will keep you up to date on these pages regarding these new security measures.

waite a week more, and probably because of the holiday craze ur package has been delayed. if in case you did not received them beans email them better yet tell them ur situation right now. they will replace it if in case it got lost. so dont worry

Cool. I doubt it is lost, i was thinking it might be the holiday too. I also figured the large increase in mail at this time might help it get through, because there are too many to open them all.

I will wait another few weeks before contacting the company, as i know they sent something, and i have the tracking number. It's caught in limbo somewhere between Europe, and USA.

According to Hempstead, it is probably on a boat, and nothing to worry about. That's fine, i'm not germinating them right away anyway, i gotta wait till the situation is right. Patience is a virtue.

i just sent my order to hempdepot 2 weeks ago and has not yet arrived to them. i will be guessing in a week or two before they can get there hands to it, and itl take the beans a few more weeks for it to arrived here. so be patience bro, my first order from them took at least 15-20 business days, and the 2nd order took a little more early

Still nothing!!! It's been 3 weeks since they sent it.

Let em know if u havent got it... they always do me right at the single seed centre... its hard for me to anywhere else even tho sowamazing is lookin nice

I have an order thru single seed centre in the same limbo. Royal Mail tracking indicates it was transferred to usps on 12/13....usps says it's awaiting. Should there be any concern that if they do eventually arrive, may have bad germ rates as I suspect they're sitting around somewhere in the cold?

Sitting in the cold wont affect germ rates, as seeds are made to last over winter. I used to smoke outside while walking through a forest preserve by my old house. I was getting some seedy mexi-herb all winter long, and i broke it up as i walked, and just tossed the seeds in the snow all over. After doing this all winter, i went back in the springtime and walked in all my usual places, to find THOUSANDS of herb plants!!!! Of course, there was a drought that year, and once they got to about 3 feet tall, they all died.

And, yea, 12/13 for me too. Waitin and waitin and waitin. Oh well, i guess this gives me time to finish my cabinet.

It took about 23 days to get mine. I figured it was due to the holiday's. Seeds are Beautiful! We'll find out the germ rate in a few weeks.

i usually update them when my order has not arrived in 2 weeks including weekends

Yeah let me know what happens with this shipment.I plan on ordering from them because they have a couple strains that attitude doesnt right now like larry og,julius ceaser and corleone kush..Ill buy 3 of each if they are good to go.

I hear good things, and i know they sent something. It USPS that is holding the order up right now. The holidays are over, so if it's not in my mailbox on Monday, i'll contact the company.

Yeah ill be here to hear what happens then.Because i know attitude does not have the beans i want and they do.

Yea, i liked being able to pick and choose my strains. I got one strain from (LSD) Barneys Farm, and one from (The Church) Greenhouse Seeds, both of which fit my needs, and i didnt have to place 2 orders.

Yeah they just stocked some new strains i want and since they are reg beans i have to buy3-4 seeds each so i can hope for a female..

USPS Finally changed the Status of my package!!!


Status: Processed through Sort Facility


So, it's in the US, and probably coming to me this week. Now, i'm just hoping it comes un-opened.
