also kicking out Russia from SWIFT now faces less critics here... I don't know if it's beneficial in the long run to push them right to the Chinese pay...

SWIFT is a lot of trade.
The news says that the E.U. does 250 Billion Dollars of trade, USA does $125 billion and others do around $100 billion.

Cutting them off from SWIFT will hurt everyone but I think it should happen.
We would be saving a lot of Goats me thinks.

Then again Rule number One still seems to hold up. "The Enemy of my Enemy is my friend."

The enemy of my enemy does not stand the 'friend test'. Friends don't tuck their tails between their legs and run when the going gets tough.

Right now we are the enemy of the enemy..we also have a long memory of only 18-24 months ago. We remember how that friend abandoned us.

Looks like it’s going to happen. Key opponents were Italy and Germany. Italy gave up their objections a few hourss ago, Germany just followed (although it looks like they have some conditions…).

I remember thart Michael Flynn may have ordered the murder of protesters when he was there in the Ukrainian Capital back in the day. He was the only "big dawg" on the property when the order came down from the Palace.
