Should olde strains be forgot and never brought to mind

Happy New Year! Lets all remember those olde strains that got us all started. Hobie, you have been a grower since before electricity, do you remember Acapolco Gold, Panama Red, Maui Wowi?
 
I have a box of bag seeds that have been collected for the past 30 years.... Anytime I got something good and it had seeds I threw then in a zip bag, just gotta find it. last I seen the seeds looked pretty good. i'm pretty sure there is some gold and red in there.
 
had me some Acapolco Gold at coffee shop amnesia in Amsterdam two years ago . I currently have some Maui Wowi in a Jar .
 
I had some maui wowi a few years ago. I've got to believe the strains are still in existence but with kush and diesel so popular nowadays they've fallen by the wayside. They're also long flowering outdoor strains which here in ri don't do so well
 
im crackin panama red in a month or 2, actually is columbian punto rojo...if you want these strains they are avaliable, just gotta no where to look...im a pm away....peace
 
I lost 2 years of High school to Panama red back in the early 80's, we simply called it red bud...shit packed a punch. Back then it could be had for 70 bucks an ounce. Then Ronald and his dear wife Nancy Reagan came along and screwed everything up. It was dry in the Midwest for almost an entire year during the mid-80's. Thankfully, I knew a guy in the Navy stationed in Hawaii. In 1986 I was paying $300 a zip for vacuum seal b/c it was all I could find. And I liked the red better.
 
Anyone remember mishnacon (not sure on the spelling) or Thai stick, buds wrapped on a stick treated with opium. My eyeslids are drooping just thinking about it. Stay medicated my brothers

I do ,and how about the vietnamese or Cambodian strains . At one time we had 10 pre rolled party packs that u could unroll and get 3 J`s per . Happy Daze

Was that by chance supposed to be Oaxaca, or sometime called Oaxacan or sometimes called Oaxacan Gold and also called H.O.G. for Highland Oaxacan Gold. (and Oaxaca is pronounced wa-hah-ka and Oaxacan would be wa-hah-kan.)

I cut my teeth on strains like Colombian Gold, Colombian Red Tip, Acapulco Gold, Panama Red, Malawi Gold, Durban Poison, Highland Oaxacan Gold, several unspecified pure sativa strains from the Da Lat Province (in the central highlands) of Vietnam that my brother in law shipped home just prior to returning to 'the world,' Thai Stick, Jamaican, unspecified Laotian and Thai strains.

Those were the good old days when real true pure sativas ruled.

It just might have been Oxacan, stay medicated my brother
 
anyone with these ones rolling around, i'd love a cut or taste... i miss them days, and those flavors of my youth... was down in jamaica two years ago and had so many wonderful well-grown tropical sativas rolling around out there... and the prices... soooo low...
 
that mishnacon was thia stick with the wash leftover from making heroin, still some opium left in it, kinda like sticks were white washed...happy daze...peace
