i never ever put any thought into someone telling me , how bad all the plants would stink.....man were they right...its like a ddead skunk animal chemical smell that permiates everything..i didnt use any odour control at all and it was a huge mistake...i read about this light tube called an ozone generator, the light zapps the air and gets rid of the smell completely.....but they say not to grow plants in the same room as the generator because they just arent right when they are.

Yes, by all means, get yourself some kind of odor eliminator...

It's not worth the risk... the smell won't be bad for the first few weeks, but eventually w/o proper odor control, you will wake up to a strong, strong smell of MJ... Even if you are on the complete other end/floor of your townhouse...

From my experience w/ townhouses, people are nosey.. they bitch a lot, they talk a lot, and they spread rumors... Get proper ordor control or don't grow there at all...

that's just my opinion....

eBay foothill filters. put one in the middle of your room with a fan on top. it will constantly scrub your air so the smell never builds up. I payed 120 for a 6 x24 and it is overkill like you would not believe it can scrub 540 cfm which is enough to do a 2 car garage. i doubt you need anything that big. even a 6 or 4 x 12 will do.

LOLOL...Man/Lady, you could not have been anymore on point..hahah. Townhouse neighbors are EXACTLY like what you said. Especially my one neighbor to the right of me...god, she is the nosiest thing in the friggin world. Luckily for me, she is one of those females who grows all sorts of plants...has plants hanging everywhere outside. Doesn't seem like anybody who has ever tried herb either...Hopefully if anybody in the area does smell anything, which I hope not, they would just attribute it to one of her plants smelling funny, or simply think she is the one growing..lol. As of now I have been running two Lasco 48 inch tower fans that have fresh air ionizers on there....Ya know, I experimented last night and turned them both off to see if the smell was stronger in the morning and it DEFINATELY was....that means that contrary to what many say, those things do work. I hadn't really noticed anything much at all cause I had always run them for this entire month stretch and I guess I never realized that they had been working. Anyways, thanks for the reply

I use a 110 pound carbon filter and it barely covers the smell.
I am legal but I still don't want the whole town knowing that I grow.
I don't like getting all my plants ripped off.
So your saying you can smell your plants outside? see, im not worried about anybody inside smelling, I am worried the smell might leak outside

I would worry about the smell if you have neighbors so just make sure your filtering you exhaust properly. Complain about being broke all you want but get it done or risk jail time.
Well thats the thing...I was planning on just leaving my room door open or open it now and then...wasn't going to exhaust it outside. If neighbors can't smell three people in a house taking craps at the same time in the morning, cooking fish, etc I dont know if I should be all that worried that any strong odor is going to alert them of growing...but your definately right..better safe than sorry.

Being that I am using the worst possible soil (i hear it is) for all ten plants and am not using the proper amount of light, I'd say these ion generators are working...helping...take a look... This is Mg moisture control soil and ive done all the wrong things when i started...all the wrong things.

What would you recommend besides any type of fan-carbon filter combo?

Yea, I'm scared of them things...I don't want any of the health risks involved with those things...hell with that.

Wow I would look at how you have your filters set up or replace your carbon. You should be able to filter a warehouse with 110 lbs of carbon. Is your filter on the room exhaust or just scrubbing the room constantly. Does it only scrub when your exhaust fans come on to regulate temp and humid lvls. How many plants are you trying to cover up. 110 lbs is a shitload of carbon.
