Should i water more often running 24/0

Should i water my girls more often now that I'm trying 24/0 light cycle.

im new to this but from what riu has showed me to do the weight test before and after you water a moisture meter works better but weight test works also there is the finger test stick your finger in the soil if its dry water make sure you get runoff

Personally, I scratch the soil every night while lights on, then when I feel it's starting to get dry, I try picking up my pot.
I don't think you should worry about the light schedule so much, but as the plant grows and matures, it will sometimes drink faster, or slower.

You shouldnt need to water more often just because of 24/0. if the light produces heat, it will dry out the soil faster tho.

i use 24/0 sometimes too. honestly it works better for clones and seedlings IMO. just dont do it with HID lights, only flouros


Soak the entire container with water. water from the bottom as well. you need to get all the air pockets down to a minimum. then simply let the soil dry out almost completely and repeat the process. there is a lot of good info on water from a guy who goes by the name "the Rev" he used to contribute to Skunk magazine. very valuable info from him.

Water when you need to water. Marijuana likes a wet to dry cycle. Soak the medium until water runs out the bottom of the pots and then don't water again until the first few inches of soil is dry and the pots are light as a feather. Use your finger to check the first few inches of soil to see if it is dry. It's that simple.

He means let it sit in a tray of water for a few minutes to wick up the water, but this is not something I usually do myself.
