thats pretty true.

I'm a fan of Co2, and would even debate some issues of it being niche BUT your deffintly 100% on about it being his first grow. (assuming he's bright)this is the time to just log down growth patterns, environmental issues (high and low temps/humidity, nutrient dosage,) and the like. I would start creating a solid base line before I went for all the bells and whistles, if I had it to do over again.. ;) if I was bright, I wasn't and i deffently hurt plants and needlesy wasted money.

I think 3lions is trying to point you into the right direction, but as he said earlier we/I don't know all the fact and I don't want to presume to know what you know.

ihave probably a dumb question but here it goes....i going to be using a simple co2 system with tank and regulator in a seal grow box....i know that co2 speeds up the grow rate and the plants thrive off of it...now here wheres the question comes into play...when growing different stains and the harvest date from start to finish is 90 days.....does the co2 enviroment change the grow time to harvest as per strain and if so how do calculate it?...thanks

use a magnifier and check the trichomes.. never never go on someone elses finish timeline.. lots of things are factors for that.. light intensity, co2, maintaining perfect temps and humidity, blah, blah.. seriusly, get a scope and keep an eye on the plant..

besides having a better handle on your own plants, it gets your closer to them and thus your paying more attention..

there are no dumb questions! just dumb people asking irrelevant questions ;) (thats not an irrelevant question)

go to a stamp collector shop, get there nicests 30x oone (like 30 bucks) plastic two eye pices, a handle that hold the batteries for the light and one inspecting lense. but any hobby/collector store will have them, cheaper and nicer than youll find in a "hydro" shop

sorry i don't remeber the name, and i am not near it to go read. but any 30x will do =)
