you've made over 300 posts you must have run into this question tons of times?? im brand new and i see it everywhere. Big fan leaves help collect light and are a key factor in photosynthesis so no don't cut the fan leaves unless they are dying or look diseased... unless you want to clean up some of the lower leaves to help with watering
