Need advice on how to trim this. Pre flowering/overgrowing

Photo plant I set to 12/12 over a week ago.
I cut a bunch off at that time and now it’s twice as big.

I need advice on how to properly trim this mess. I’m worried about mold if it flowers densely.
It’s a 1:1 thc cbd Dancehall plant.
I was in veg way too long letting another plant finish.

The ”fuck it” quick and reckless way would be to chop it in half, flip it, and LST branches as needed while it stretches. A “more responsible” way would be to LST and tie down the individual branches outwards like an upside down umbrella, put up a net for support, and then remove the new growth nodes from the bottom half of the plant. Defoliate lightly as needed, and you’ll have a giant ass killer canopy.

I'll try the net method and see if I can make sense of it.

It is tied down to spread it already. The ties are green and hard to see.

I'm trying to keep it under a 1x2ft light. Maybe it can spread beyond and bit but the light is weak past the edges and doesn't seem worth growing out there?

Gotcha. You can prune the tops down before flowering to keep a certain manageable size. You can do a lot in veg. Flower is a bit more limited because of the lack of recovery time after an aggressive pruning session.

I would wait until the stretch is over and then select the tops I want and remove the rest then. You don't want to stress it at this point.
That being said I would still try and manage the canopy during stretch. If I saw a top or so getting away I would slow it down by just removing the top fan leafs. That slows it down just enough to let the other branches catch up.

I did all this trimming before checking this post so my bad.
This plant is months old. Idk, but I just got excited to plant it.

Next time I will make different mistakes.
