Should I Ph in organic grow ?

My well water is usually between 6.0 and 7.5 but the last couple times I checked it was 5.0 to 5.5. I have organic ph up that has 10% calcium should I use it ? Soil is FFOF with a little bit of nature living supersoil I got from a friend.

Could be your ph meter. I doubt it changed that much. Either way don’t ph an organic grow. If you start to see issues. Maybe. But waste of time and money IMO

I believe rain is like 5.8.

That's what I thought

Only issues I been seeing is yellowing of the bottom leaves and a couple leaves curling down with brown spots.

Would you worry about municipal water at 8.4?
Not so much about the pH level, but maybe what's in it that makes it that high. Lots of Ca maybe. The Ca could build up in the soil and make the pH rise a bit. Too much Ca can also cause lockouts.

My well water is a little high. Around 7.8 or so usually with some Ca. My soil buffers it down to like 6.2-6.3 immediately.

But I do use a little citric acid sometimes to prevent the Ca from building up too much in the soil. It acts as a chelating agent to break bonds. I also add dry amendments that have Ca, so it's not all coming from my water.

Citric acid works great as an organic pH down if you want one. His Ca to raise pH should be fine too. But I don't think you need to use either.

Fuck it, I’ll give it a try. I’m sick of trying to nail it down to 6.3 and smelling like organic cider vinegar. I may just take a sample to the pool shop and get it analyzed.

After a second look have you fed any mag lately? Is Epsom part of your feed regimen?
I did feed organic calmag last Sunday and I'm 100% but I think the yellowing slowed down a little. I've only used it like twice the whole grow. Should I use it more often ?

I personally don’t use cal mag. Your tap will have cal and I use Epsom for mag because of the sulfur and it’s cheap and easy.

I just watered it now and for the first time I'm gonna collect the runoff and measure it. What should ph and ppm range be at ?
