Should I fly to Colorado just to get a few keepers?

Hello everyone. I am from michigan and have been a medical patient and caregiver for a few years now and have ran into various problems regarding a real og type lemon lung expanding type of strain. I lived in San Fran for a couple years (twin peaks) but unfortunately got into it with my friend and lost my keeper strains. I have popped of many packs of beans, around 40-50 packs of many many strains. I have found only one keeper in my search (which will never ever end). I am coming to visit during the cup and was wondering where I would find a good keeper strain in clone form. Thanks.

Well to me the worst that can happen is I spend my time and some money to not find a good pheno. And then I would be right where i started

I mean there are good pheno's any where you go, just a matter of finding who has it.

I doubt that you could get back on the plane with a clone (maybe seeds).

I don't know how u would get them back to Mich. The airlines will not allow it. + illegal to bring out of state. Driving is a better option. But still illegal.

I was gonna probably use clone shipper . C and also drive some back. I think I can drive through a path of medicated states

How would you know if they are keepers without growing them? If you can't find a keeper out of fifty beans how could co clones be any better?

no never start from a clone. why ? because. people that usually sell clones usually don't grow a final product. why ? because they over cloned the plants never kept the mommy plants, and the genetics are lost, so when you get the clone and flower or worse use it for a mommy the genetics are really lost. you will grow more leafs to bud ration no potency at all. cloned out. a pro grower will pop a few or 100 seeds lol and keep some moms around to chop clones off them . so you always have a second generation bud. any over 1 reclown you do lose every thing. 3 and 4 more noticeable. 10 or 15 your growing weed from the 1950s buy seeds do it correct.

i am gonna say that the cuts at most places are pretty good that i have seen . but the bugs are bad. the wifi cuts are a cant go wrong deal IMO as is my sour cut that is around alot...

this is A LOAD OF HORSE SHIT!!!! i grow from clone seed and S1 !!! all have similar amounts of vigour an potency once treated with the proper respect. Got a cut that is weak?? veg it in natural sunlight then take vigourous cuttings for weeks make a mom from one that is the best .. bam return of vigour IMO

It's still illegal to take em out of state. You could try to make the drive but don't fuck up one inch the whole way cuz any car headed n w s e outta our area has a big green bullseye right on it. And if they doooooooo get you, be prepared to be made an example of. That's the worst that could happen. The best thing that could happen is u get a killer cut. And we have plenty. And yes you can walk right into a store and buy basically whatever your heart desires, as long as you beat the heads that live here to the shelves. And everything is gone in hours cuz anyone can grab em and people are freaking the fuck out right now. I've been shipped live plants before but a friend of mine got busted doing that and got in pretty deep shit. Cuz it's federal. Seeds are the way to go. I saw that you popped fifty (ten packs?) packs and only found one keeper? Can I ask what it was? And what the other packs were (I know it's a long list but humor me, that way I don't buy those packs, I'm a huge collector) finally I have to say that after all that work to find only one keeper, you must be one picky son of a gun! We like that around here. Post some pics of it up we'd all love to see, even though your an out a stater, we love to see what's going on in your neck of the trees.

i mean, what he says might seem true enough.

a friend of mine who is a "pro" grower does much prefer seed to clone.

i have plants that do grow differently as they get later into clone and have even had to get rid of a couple of them.

i've seen more leaf to bud ratio creep in on some strains, and other strains that have gone the other way.

i'm just wondering if there is anything verifiable or factual to back up the claim and some of the observations.

The variables are limitless. It would be very hard to get any empirical evidence on that IMO!
