Short and bushy? Can light get in there?

I’m not really complaining and I assume it’s just genetics but I’ve never had any plants that were immediately all bushy at this height. Is this a good thing? Bad thing? I’m concerned about light getting through mainly. I don't normally trim for light this early.

First pic is them being in cups just before transplant and the other is today. Been in tent for 11 days now.

Deep Jealousy Autos. (never done autos before so this is a new one for me… Don’t want to screw it up

Literally just topped them both yesterday and removed the lowest nodes to get ahead of clearing out underneath that I KNOW I'd have to do later anyway. I read somewhere that lots of people top autos at the 4th node which I am over. I've read where others said after the 6 node. Hopefully they turn out ok. I'm doing 18/6 on them currently. hell, not even sure if that's right with autos truly. Guess I'm gonna learn. HA

Get the fun out of learning new sht man lol
Couldn't advice on autos like
But my last grow first doing led I had shading issues but I chopped the plants down had like a skeleton of the main stem

18/6 is fine. I run 20/4. As long as the plant is not behind I top my auto at 4th node between day 15-18 and remove 1st node then as well. I also LST into a pie shape and remove any fan leaves in the way of bud sights. This gives me 6 main colas and NO larf at all. Sometimes more if the center sites grow well enough. You at least want to remove the fan leaves hiding your bud sites. How old are they?

Yours are right on track and healthy from the looks. This is day 25 for upper left, day 21 for upper right and day 15 for center. The day 15 Im experimenting a little see if I top 3rd node and only have 4 main colas if that would be a good method for autos that are behind (not growing as fast as they should) and since they are on a timeline if I top and grow only 4 nodes will that give those stems enough energy to produce 4 main colas instead of leaving the stunted plant natural and only growing 1 small cola and a bunch of small buds/larf. If that makes sense

I get like 20 tops a plantView attachment 5388341
Good stuff!

I grow autos 24/0 and then 20/4, 21/3, etc. Big issue is to get DLI into the 70's and 80's. That'll get you to "back up the truck" yields. Last night I watched Mitch Westmoreland's YoutTune video "Manipulating Environmental Factors to Improve Cannabis Yield with Mitchell Westmoreland". He confirms maxing out light and temps in the 80's in veg but the trick to preserve secondary metabolites is make sure temps are in the 70's in flower. I've gone over a pound a plant with "lotsa light" but didn't know to drop temps in flower. I definitely will do so for my next grow.

Check out the rest of your grow. VPD in range? Nutrients, wind, etc. My photos will handle up to 1150 or so and I ran my autos at 100-1050. Light varies from strain to strain but, if your grow is squared away, you should be able to get at least 800µmol on your plants.
