I'm going to Monterey Bay for the weekend. Figured I better get a pic in case they don't survive haha.

Haha. I'm using left over dirt from last run. It's pro mix hp with about 3 to 1 dirt/rice hulls. I use rice hulls like perlite and also mulch for my 5 gallon cloth pots.Rice hulls!

Well they survived!
I'm going to start feed soon. I'm thinking tomorrow @ half a tablespoon per gallon.

Hopefully mine turns out as good as @shnkrmn . Your last run was looking fantastic. I was sad you had to throw it out. I'm sure you were as well. Hope this time you get a fat jar of some smoke!

The reviews I've gotten for the gelato made me certain it pretty special. These people are hard to impress.Hopefully mine turns out as good as @shnkrmn . Your last run was looking fantastic. Just potted up 9 more. I left them in plugs for weeks then potted up and as soon as they started growing they went into reveg because I didn't have my shit together when I needed it. But in terms of my grow calendar, slowing these down is perfect for me. So, the veg tent is fired back up, now I need to figure everything out for the BBB community journal and crack more BOO-related genetics.

Is the Acacia free seed as good smoke as the Polar? I gave away one of my two free seeds. I was going to add it in to this run but was wary of getting a herm...

Definitely as good as the polar with a more sour taste and smell overall. Plant looked just like gelato but 10% smaller. Dried yield was 103g but I never weighed a single polar plant to compare. The herm thing: I posted last week I found some maybe seeds but I was wrong. I came back to them and they were just little tiny dried flowers. I crushed them and smoked it. Not worried about herms. I'm going to grow out that second freebie and take cuttings this time.
Mine are developing a really unique smell.

I'm planning on doing the Polar Gelato on my next run, or at least starting a plant or two for clones. I have been very impressed with the work you guys have done with it and looking at the pics I've just got to get some done! I won't be brave enough to start anymore Acai Jelly even allowing the lone successful one of Shnkrmn's which does look and sound amazing! I've still got 9 Acai but it's the Polar Gelato which I will pursue. I do have a pack of Pink Sunset too but like the Acai I don't really fancy the risks. Has anyone else been successful with the Pink Sunset?? Thanks. Peace.

I hope to get pink sunset to try it. I have one more acai seed to try too since I took no cuttings the first time. It's always a matter of when!

They are both about 5.5'-6' tall! I accidentally monster cropped them so they are all very large. She smells fabulous. Whereas the Polar Gelato has a bit of a menthol smell to her the PS smells like petrichor, earth and black pepper. I'm really looking forward to harvest.
I look forward to seeing what you do with her. Your grows always look so nice.
