Sharing My Progress - First Post

Hey everyone, hope it goes well. I'm starting a thread to share my experiences, successes and, hopefully rarely, failures as I keep a grow journal. I'm a little behind as these ladies have just finished their fourth week of veg. Started from regular seed.

Set up:

48"x24"x50" Apollo Horticulture grow tent
600w MH/HPS Apollo Horticulture lamp with open reflector
24" box fan
6" 240CFM inline exhaust fan
SCROG

Soil:

Using Roots Organic for two Bubba Kush and one Shishkaberry. Zen Blend for another Bubba Kush.

Nutrients:

No nutes in Roots Organic yet. Using full strength Fox Farms Grow Big liquid in the Zen Blend pot.

I'm mainlining my Shishkaberry, traditionally cropping one of the Bubbas, and I managed to half-ass FIM the other.

Switching the lights to 12/12 tonight.

I'm experimenting a little so I can refine my process, so feedback is appreciated.

Update Week 5:

1 week into 12/12. I'm seeing some good stretch on the Shishkaberry. The Bubba Kush are looking solid with very minimal stretch. No preflowers are visible yet. I'm crossing my fingers for females.

I'm currently on week 3 from 12/12. Your plants look nice and chunky, are they sativa or indica dom? I think mine were 60/40 sativa dom, they've grown to be really really bushy! Some weird genetic trait, or I've been told a load of bs! hey, ho

Haha, these babies are indica for sure. Although the Shishkaberry does seem a little tall. Maybe your plants are expressing their indica phenotype as the dominant one.

Well they're lookin good. Have high hopes for you come harvest time, ur gunna have some good smoke out of them for sure!

Update:
9 days into 12/12 and all the plants are showing sex. I got two males out of the three Bubba Kush and the one Shishkaberry is showing me pistils.

I feel bad just cutting the boys down so those evening I will transplant them into the flower beds at the courthouse.

I'll have another update for you all in a few days. Until then here are some balls to look at.
