Gnats in my clones so fuckin pist. they took out 3 already. Looks like I have about 4 rooted so far. Another 8 or so hang in the balance. Luckily I popped these seeds to help, but Idk they might get fuckin attacked too. I dunno wtf to do about these fucks, I can't seem to take them out getting very frustrated. All genetics look safe with the exception of the Blackwater. One clone was cooked totally, one looks like its in pretty bad shape, but I'm still hoping. If I lose both of them I will be forced to clone from the flower room to preserve those purple ass genetics.

Sprayed down the clones with SNS203 which is basically rosemary and clove oil. Was able to extract a couple of the larva and applied a drop of it strait. Squirmed a whole lot and then no more movement in like 10 secs. Then I applied it at the recommended strength to another victim. Squirmmed a bit, but death seemed much slower. Not sure that it will work diluted to the point where it's plant safe. But I need to find a good solution to this problem.

I have been looking into Neem Cake tea which is basically just 48 hour airaited neem. Not suppose to be good on the bios in the medium but at this point I'm willing to try anything. Things I have been doing... -Sicky traps always -Mosquito Dunks (bti) in the rez -tried Diatomaceous earth on the surface, no help. The SNS203 is new, but I'm not sure that its a killer as much as a repellent. Tested it as a drench on my TW male (haha who says males are no good) and he seemed to take it fine.

Tea recipe...

2.5 gals bottled water
1 scoop great white
15 ml Aqua Shield
2 tsp Black-strap Molasses
in a stocking...
2 hand fulls of Wiggleworm EWC(best I could find)
1/2 brick Mosquito Dunk, crushed (BTi)

in 24 hours I will add 1 tsp of Botanicare ZHO and in 48 hours it will be ready for use. Basically Heisenberg Tea with added BTi to ward off the Gnats.

Man... that looks so good. I really like the contrast between the colors of the buds and the hairs. Reminds me of some of the better purps I've smoked in the past.

Yes root drench the shit out them with Azamax.

Fungus gnats dislike cedar oil a lot and there are plenty of all natural products out there which contain it.

Flowers look great bud.

Dr Doom safe for plants I take it? and I've used it in the past with minimal success so what dosage? Days apart to apply?

What strength? The bottle I really need is fuckin 70 bucks... and will only make me 7.5gal of drench at the strongest dose. I am hoping this tea will help as I brewed it in RO and broke the shit outta a mosquito dunk in there. 48 hours is coming up here pretty soon, I will be applying it.

I saw GoGnats contains 33% cedar oil, I also have SNS203 which contains Clove & Rosemarry oils. Do these oils actually kill larva? I noticed you were careful to use the words 'dislike' lol I need DEAD lol

Thanks man, Idk whats up with my nug size lately feel like scaling up has made everything smaller? idk lil strange but it probably has to do with how long I'm vegging. I was thinking about taking clones in the areo cloner, rooting them and growing them in the damn thing for a week or so and then cutting them again, cleaning the shit out of the unit and the re-sticking them in there... that should allow me to shave 3-4 weeks off veg which I'm looking to do to manage height better. BUT I will add that the canopy is much better this time. More even but still too close to the light. At about 18" from the glass now, luckily no heat stress or bleeching noticed. I know you wouldn't recommend it shrubs but gotta do what I gotta do lol

Azamax is expensive but worth it. Generally you need not apply more than once every three weeks, as it is taken up by
the roots in a systemic fashion. Not only do you get the benefits of the direct drenching of the roots, but it is also a great
preventative of most sucking and leaf eating pests. I don't do the 20 mL / Gallon ever just because that is crazy expensive.
But 5-10 is affordable and a solid killer.

The cedar oil, like I carefully said, is definitely best used as a repellent. It won't kill the bastards, but giving a good spray to
the under sides of your lower leaves, as well as hitting the top of your soil hard does help. I also recommend Ed Rosenthol's
for that.

You think over vegetation is possibly your problem? Or just that they are getting too big for your space? Maybe if they had
more individual space they could flourish a little better. My bro, there are many paths to get to rome. Your plants tell you
how high to put your lights, I recommend the best care you can give! I know you are giving it to them just by seeing the
whole production. From beginning to end you got it goin on. Scaling up always presents new creases to iron out. This is
the first harvest in my room in a while I feel comfortable with. Ups and downs I guess.

Yeah might end up getting it. I might be over vegging, gonna try this double cloning probably with the aero cloner. I assume as long as I let the clone veg a week and get healthy I should be fine to cut it again above the insert and clone it again?

Been a little while since I've had a chance to tune in. Loving the show. Good luck with those gnats! Just had a quick question about your feelings on various nute lines. I read in another thread that you had tried Ionic, but may be working with, and really enjoying Canna's line at the moment. These are the exact two lines that I've been thinking about trying at some point in the future. I've heard great things about Ionic's ph stability (same for Canna, actually) and know at least two growers that swear by Canna. Any thoughts on those particular lines that you'd like to share?

If you want to save a buck and get 95% of the results go with the ionic lineup. Mainly the Ionic bloom, boost, and the Greenfuse Bloom Stimulator. This combo worked great for me, I left it kinda seeking the 'best' but really for the money Ionic is a great value. At this point I would prob be recommending Ionic over Canna simply bc of cost and simplicity. 1 part base nute makes it really easy and not having to buy a million additives is nice too. I think you can get 2.5 gal of the bloom for 80. Canna is charging 100 for 10L...I also think the ionic goes further then the canna (more concentrated) but it's been a minute since I was using it so don't quote me on that.

Thanks for the quick response, guy! I assume this was in your hydroton/rock wool mix that you like, right? Did you roll with the recommended schedules for each line or dial them back a bit?
