At the start of this school year, my 7 year old was told that that was not tolerated. When he told me this, I told him that as long as he wasn't being destructive or touching other kids, he could point his fingers at recess as much as he liked to.What about the kid that got suspended for putting his fingers into a gun shape and "shooting" his fellow classmate in a game of cops and robbers?

All toy guns in the US legally HAVE to have a blaze orange tip.

Any realistic imitation firearm (read: things that look like guns) that isn't a genuine firearm has to have a blaze orange tip, be they airsoft, kids toys, whatever.
