looks to be the step up from what i have, is this what i need?

The others on amazon.ca are absurdly expensive

im not sure i got the stomach to spend another 1k on this room right now lol....ill probably just get baked later and buy everything anyway lol

i dunno,i may go back to throwing my hps up in there and blasting the heat and letting the intake and exhaust do some work.

Ok more baked thinking lol

Should i have my intake fan and exhaust fan as far away from each other as possible? or will it matter if they are close? The wall is only 7` wide, so thats the furthest they can be apart, unless i run the intake down low and exhaust diagonal up high

just thinking that maybe when both kick on, the exhaust will just be sucking the fresh air right back out?

Im about to start drilling some holes, does anyone have an answer to the above post about intake and exhaust positioning?

Id hate to cut a 6 " hole in my house , only to realize its not a good spot and needs to be moved lol

I recommend getting them as far apart as possible. You can always use ducting to get to the hole you cut.
Ok sounds good. The wall im going out through the exterior is only 7` wide, ill just put then at opposite sides as far from eachother as i can. Still only gonna have a few feet betweem them unfortunately.

Ill Have the intake blowing over the plants and lights side and have the exhaust on the side where all the drivers/controllers and dehuey and timers

Since your not having temp issues anyways and it sound like your exhaust is mainly for fresh air I think you will be fine. If you were having temp issues sometimes you got to play around with fans and find the sweet spot but just adding fresh air or occasionally exhausting hot air I don't think it will be a problem.

I remember going over this and we came up with the plan of running a piece of galvanized snap seam duct across the room off the intake fan, perhaps with a bunch of holes to evenly spread the air, you could put a damper on it if you wanted to keep really cold or hot air from blowing in.

Man I gotta slack off on the weed and posting lol

I thought we came to the concluding to not use any ducting and just let the air mix? Lol

My original idea tho ya was to run a duct under the tables and put holes in it to let fresh air out.

Now I dunno wtf in doing lol

Lol I overthink my shit too man, ur temps are good u just need fresh air brought in and you got plenty of fans moving air right. So quit overthinking it enjoy your room and grow some fire herb. If you were having temp issues might be a different story as small changes in ventilation can make a big difference but all you need is fresh air, and the fans will move that around.

Ya man, im constantly overthinking this stuff, second guessing myself, just wanting to get it right lol

Temps have since shot up to 87-88 with the cmh running. So i shut it down, once i get both the fans hooked up later today, ill keep it running with a few plants under it.

Gonna just put the fans at opposite sides of the wall and try that, if i notice its not performing like i want, ill add ducting and extend it across the room further.

prepare yourselves,my helios 11 light controller is here, so this evening shits gonna get technichal, gonna wire the light controller and hook everything else up to the enviro controller and set that up lol....ill prob have a thousand questions on wtf im doing.

listen to renfro for real, but also listen to me :) with the led lighting , I run 1kw under a 9x6x8 with mylar I dont get enough heat to run ac, I am in oregon in my garage, but my dehumidifier is a cheap and fills up the room with warmer air once flower starts. hope that helps. I cant get above 80 ever, you want CONTINUOUS flow to that room or you will have to supply Co2, then have the dehuey come on to keep it at 50% (if you are around 75-78, i run 55-60rh until week 3 flower ).

that controller will keep your rh and temp in check buuuut will choke your plants out if its not moving that much air into it without controlling co2 I use my fan speed controller to set my temps, the dehuey does the rest. with your room size you can set it to heat up with slower speed (hopefully) but it might not be fast enough to deliver fresh co2 is all

i have 3 x 16" hurricane oscillating fans on the walls in front of the tables( above drivers) and 2 x 6" clip fans under the canopy , its hot, humid and windy in my room lol

i hope once i have everything up and running and dialed in, it will all be enough to run a decent room.

I know the struggle man I just "finished" my room. I put finish in quotes cause I really just ran out of money. I still have to add c02, mount dehuey on wall, upgrade wall fans, tables, plumbing, and add a coulple more outlets. I dunno man building shit is not for me, I just wanna grow some herb I'll be happy when it's all done. Hell I'm happy now that I got it to a point I could put some plants in there. I'm not sure what it is but I have very low energy levels always have since I can remember, I guess you could call it lazy if I didn't get so much shit done in a day. But I'm an unpleasant asshole to be around by the end of the day, and even more so when trying to do shit I don't feel like I'm good at doing (building shit).

A morning glance in here always gives me the energy to power thru and not just go back to bed but man when I had my big tent out of commission to build this room I was a mad mf every day lol.

Okay while was typing this I saw the new post. I have only been running my fan every couple hours during lights on for 15 mins. Theplants are blowing up but I was already thinking that at some point they might need more fresh air as they mature and use more c02. How can you tell if plants are "choking" out. Any visual signs, everything looks good for now.

dehuey running at lights out, rh 70% and temps 79f lights out

i think im happy with that so far. I expect even more control once i get my ass in gear and hook up my intake and exhaust lol

I will take some later, with those big orange globes above the pics aren't very good majority of plants in that picture are modified mints from sin City I found a nice keeper but have only run it from seed the first time so this is my first time running her full size. The one on left that looks different is bluemoonshine x purple northern lights also first time as big girl she has been run in my small tents a few times tho.

Here is a pic of the opposite side of the room.
Today is day 21 these pics are from two days ago and so far I'm really happy with bud developmwnt. But this guy that just posted has me worried I might not be bringing in enough fresh air. Which I was already slightly worried about. But I'd hate to run my fan all day fighting my ac.

This side the two rows closest to the walls are honey trap(bubble gum cross) and the the plants closest to camera are the blue moonshine x purple northern lights (which from here on out I will call purple moonshine or PMS cause it's too much to type out lol). Honey trap is one of regular girls so as you can see she filled in nicely as I knew what size to flip her, the others I'm learning.
