Selling to Dispensaries? - Michigan

Does anyone know what is going on with Michigan legislation (2019) exactly? Can caregivers still sell to dispensaries, or do they have to be licensed?

Also, what is the best way to find patients for a caregiver in Michigan?

Any other resource information for Michigan caregivers to generate legal revenue welcomed!

Caregivers can sell to dispensaries until March 31 but it's possible that date gets extended. Check out Grassmatch for patient/caregiver matching.

What a bunch of fn cry babies there. Want top shelf for cheaper than what a dispo will buy bulk from. Stay far away.

Can't say I've ever used grassmatch personally but I know there are people actively using it in my area. I've been to the site and caregivers post the prices they want. I imagine people try to haggle but that's what happens when you sell anything. Another gray area that people are using to make money in the recreational market is selling some various knick knack and gifting the buyer an amount of cannabis as a complimentary gift for buying said knick knack. Example: Buy a yo-yo for $40 and get a complimentary eighth.

What are these MMFLA cats paying MMMA folks for their lab tested meds today? One would think handsomely given their demand is clearly beyond their supply no

You sure think it would be in a different classification being lab tested. All these resellers have run the price into the ground

That’s for sure. They are charging 575$ a batch up to 15lbs per batch. So yea they are getting money. And once the product is on their shelves they test it again.

Then we’re dealing with product that could possibly have pesticides or PM amongst other things like mites or fungus knats It’s right for customers to want to have tested product only, thin some of the wannabes out who still think smoking PM is safe.

Messy? Not at all. It’s going to be very simple
Either have a compliance test from PSI or iron labs (only 2 in the state) or sink to the bottom. All untested meds will now be considered “mid grade” no matter who’s growing it. Lots of doctored tests out there showing false thc results.
I know several dispensaries in the Detroit area that pay top price for verifiable tested meds so it’s a great thing. Plus good pot will always sell regardless of test result.
