seeds haven't popped

It took 3 days, I just plant them 1/2 inch down in soil and water. Been doing that since the early 80's.
i asked because for some reason a lot of people seem to have issues popping seeds o_O i mainly see the same issues dealing with people who soak their seeds. even my friend who soaked some seeds it didn't sprout after 12 days. i just did this method for the first time no issues 3 day germ rate for all 3 which so far is the best germ rate for me. personally im starting to like this method less work for me.

Should I still soak the seeds first? Or just put them straight into the rapid rooters?
Soak the rooter - squeeze out excess (moist not saturated) - place seed in hole about 3/8" - tear off a small piece of rooter and place over hole - put in a drawer - keep the rooter moist with a dropper. It normally takes 3-4 days to pop. I have had nearly 100% for years. Good luck.

One of the biggest reasons for seedling death is bacteria and fungi from being handled.
