Thanks but Dude? Silky T is a female. I know I'm one of but a handful of women on here but I keep getting referred to as a guy. Even tho it shouldn't matter, we are growers too! Albiet, I AM a newbie here.yea, good looking out dude.
Im sorry muffin, it won't happen again, girlfriend! Thanks but Dude? Silky T is a female. I know I'm one of but a handful of women on here but I keep getting referred to as a guy. Even tho it shouldn't matter, we are growers too! Albiet, I AM a newbie here.
Now that's better!Im sorry muffin, it won't happen again, girlfriend!
He's just pulling your leg. Re-arange your lights (reflectors would help, too) and keep going. You'll be fine. Unless you fuck up something else. You think so? Even though the color of it its like green and still standing?
Don't wrap anything arround the base of the bulbs. The ballast is in there and needs to be able to disperse heat. You can buy cheap clamp-on reflectors from Walmart for about $10.00. Don't buy them. The reflectors fall off the socket and sit on the ballast or the tube. They can come in contact with the male threaded part of the bulbs and electrocute you. Pieces of shit are not safe.Oh sweet, you just put a smile in my face, and my hopes are back again!! I'm just gonna improvize and make a fixture for those lights!! You think that is the reason why the other sets of leaves didn't show up!?

Gotcha, I read somewhere that using white background color sometimes is better than reflecting foil. You think I should continue with white background or reflecting foil?Don't wrap anything arround the base of the bulbs. The ballast is in there and needs to be able to disperse heat. You are right I actually just noticed that there is a lot of root development going on. Just not sure for how long this will go on until there is a progress noticed! I think it is to early to start feeding, so I am just patiently waiting.Actually. That is more than enough cfl's for now (1500lumen p/6" of seedling growth). Your clear solo cup can actually be lit through the entire cup even the bottom. Everytime your roots see light they turn, id say that thing is trying to kick out some roots probably spending too much energy on root dev. Nothing serious just slows growth.
I made one of white posterboard and it worked well enough. A foil one probably wouldn't hold its shape.Gotcha, I read somewhere that using white background color sometimes is better than reflecting foil. You think I should continue with white background or reflecting foil?
I am in process of making a fixture for lights myself, which i think should be fine! I will show you the pics. as soon as I am done!
ps. I live in a place where there are no walmarts or american products!! Europe! haha
Problem is NOT ENOUGH LIGHT... gl mate!Hi all,
I am really a newbie, and this is my first grow. It has been like 10days since my seedlings has sprouted and I only see the first leaves, or known as cotyledon. As far as I have researched the second set of leaves should have been already out by now.
Here are my pictures from my seedling. Please let me know what do you think? Is it maybe a bad seed? I mean the the cotyledon leaves are looking green and healthy!!
Thanks
use the white background instead. It works way better than foil/alumGotcha, I read somewhere that using white background color sometimes is better than reflecting foil. You think I should continue with white background or reflecting foil?

Yep too early to feed, too early to overwater. Any day you should be seeing fresh yellow growth at the top. A few days after that some stretching. After the 1st true set of fan leaves when you're plant can actually use its fan leaves to turn light into energy then you will need more light. It really doesnt look that stretched at all by looking at the color and thickness of the stem, it just looks like it was in a dark area when it sprouted. Did the stem look more twisted and spindly before? You are right I actually just noticed that there is a lot of root development going on. It basically was the same since it sprouted, it was little twisted, it didn't stretch much since it sprouted, just in the beginning and then it kinda stopped.Yep too early to feed, too early to overwater. Sorry to hear she died. Just my 2 cents...don't grow in clear cup/pots again. The roots need to be in the dark.@ganjabusdriver Nah it failed to grow, it basically died, i think the seed itself wasn't a good seed.
