SEEDLING JUST SURFACED IS IT OK?

Hello there fellow growers

So my first seed just surfaced and it is currently curled up as you can see and there is something brown on its tip...

I removed its shell but it practically came off on itself.

Is it healthy? Is this normal? Its been like this for a day now.

Yesterday’s afternoon I left the 84W LED on for a few hours just to reduce humidity. But since then its total dark. All good?

When this happens I yank the roots right of the ground and ask them “what’s taking so f’ing long?”

Did you mention you're in complete darkness? It's popped now it's going to need some light, buddy.

I am waiting till the leaves grow up so they can absorb the light. Is this correct? Right now im afraid the light could damage the white root

As soon as they are above the surface they need some light. Don't scorch them and keep them moist.

The seed membrane or Testa can stick. If it keeps both cotyledons from opening it needs removed. I'd suggest a little spray of water, a little light and check again in 24 hours.

Stuck against seed pod/membrane, I usually take it off very carefully to help when I see them having a bit of an issue ... removing it will help...but that's just me.

I will wait till tomorrow, if it stays down like this I will see about this TESTA membrane.

Hello there, I got home to see how she was and this is her.
After spraying some water and putting it under the humidity dome for some time, I tried to remove te membrane and I didnt go further because would end up damaging it. It doesnt look like its gonna come off on itself...

Do you guys think I should leave it be or get a cyrugical needle to open it?
She looks like its trying to turn up and get some lights but the membrane wont allow it.

Sometimes doing nothing is the hardest part for me.

They are so cute when they are young.
