Seedling help!

Hey guys, i just started my first grow. The climate here is a steady 34-37°C with a humidity of 75%.. my setup is 2x45 watt Phillips Tornado cfl.. Growing method is a hydro soil hybrid grow.. Currently day 8 from sprout.. My seedling has a lime green colour to it with yellowing on the edges, i also am facing a dead spot on one of its leaf.. Please HELP!

The lime green color is fine. In fact, new growth should always be lighter like that, at least in my experience. It shouldn't need any nutrients at the moment due to it's size. Not sure why that spot is there but otherwise looking good. I would wait it out and see how it goes.

Thanks QuarksRSmall.. FYI I haven't fed any nutrients so far and just keeping it at RO watering when it needs.. i dont spray my seedling tho because i figured the climate in my place has pretty high humidity (Tropical Climate). Is there anything i should keep in mind?

It's most likely over watered. Your soil is very wet and has no Perlite for drainage. Probably no drainage holes at bottom correct?
Also, never grow in a see through container. Not good for the roots.

I'd repot that and change your soil asap...
Go for Fox Farm Happy Frog soil for seedlings and add about 30% Perlite to it.

The biggest thing, in my opinion, is to not over love them. Let nature take it's course and just try to get out of the way. Provide what it needs when it needs it and no more. While this sounds simple, many have tried and were not able to complete their grow. On a final note, please remember that there is no secret sauce or some special gunk that "this one guy knows that no one else does". The internet is full of products that are designed to separate people from their money. I am no expert either and defer

as for the container, i wrap it in foil for must part of the time, unless i'm cleaning out or changing the water.. it has drain holes at the bottom.. in fact there are roots starting to show thru the holes at the bottom too..P_20170904_003519.jpg

It looks like an overwatering issue. Your hybrid setup can use improvements, looks like you used the top of the bottle and turned it upside down? Your roots aren't getting enough oxygen. Looks like it'd escape out the sides mostly before getting to your soil with just a cap hole open down there. Try to get it lookin like this

If perlite is not an option then, get some small gravel(rocks) and sanitize them by heating them. Wash them off and mix with your soil. The goal is to keep the dirt from compacting and forcing the oxygen out of the root system. To those that take exception to the fine gravel, this was a common practice long before perlite and vermiculite.

thanks cubes.. i do realize that i have to work more on the build.. I will work on the improvements.. Thanks again..
