No, Don't give up. It can take a while for some seeds to sprout. Even from the same strain. It could be a bad seed but it may just have a tough shell and not willing to crack as of yet. If it looks like the seed is still sealed then soak it in a glass of water for 6-12 hours to let the water loosen the seed up then back into the moist paper towl. I say 6-12 hours because you have had it soaking for 4 days in a paper towl and you do not want to over do it. If it was from the start you would soak the seeds for 24 hours or so. Also try to keep it in a warm dark spot. The warm air will help it germ better. Keep trying and let us know how it goes.

agreed.. do not give up on it.. especially if its a good strain like that.. and just like he said.. try to keep it inm a warm area.. that will help alot.. and if after a couple more days... it STILL doesnt crack open... get a razor blade and cut a small slit into the tip of the seed where the sprout should be coming out of.. and then place it back in the paper towels.. and if it STILL doesnt germ.. then just throw it in some soil... and just leave it there... and see if anything happens... lol.. 1 of my seeds just sprouted.. and it had been a week and 1/2.. i thought it was just a bad seed.. but it just took a madd long time. lol. good luck!!

Never tried cutting a slit but scuffing has worked well for seeds that have done the same .. Scuff a few spots on the shell w/emery board. Maybe add a little h202 and/or a drop of super thrive per gallon. I scuff all seeds now before I start.Works well . SSHAZE is tiny seed though ,hard to hold.

I know this is an old thread, but I see it mentions scuffing. Not really that hard. Glue some emery boards inside a matchbox or something similar, as in the pictures. I have a small matchbox one, but will need to scuff more than a few at a time :-) so I'm building a bigger one. Not finished, need somemore emery boards, but eventually it'll have emery on all six internal surfaces.

I sometimes check on it, but with the seeds i've germinated I see results in the first couple days or else it never amounts to much.
