************** SEED COLLECTION*************

I keep mine in a mason jar in the freezer. I keep them in the original packs, with a couple of dessicant packs in the jars. I'm from Missouri where there is wild hemp all over. The seeds of those plants lay on the ground all winter. They freeze, thaw get rained and snowed on. but don't germinate till the temps warm up in the spring. I keep mine dry but I don't think it's that big of a deal .

I also try new strains every grow so I don't usually have the seeds for long, But I'm probably going to start buying some strains I've liked just to keep them incase it gets hard to find them again.

Only thing that will slow you down is when you find keepers to clone/mother. Your last sentence in your comment is one of the main reasons I "collect" right now. Having the opportunity to pop a slurricane x gushers pack 20 yrs from now sounds pretty cool. Also I'd like to find my own stud male to breed with. I've got some interesting stuff to tinker with.

I keep mine in the freezer and they germinate fine. Not sure how they'll respond after 10 years in the freezer.

I really liked the Do-Si-Dos, super frosty (most trichome dense plant I've grown) and great smoke, but a bit of a picky strain. Also the Afghan Hash has massive colas, also great smoke with good THC percent. And the Maltezerx was also really nice. The other ones were good too just not as much if a taste or smell.

I'm excited to see how the Bruce Banner and Strawberry Banana do, they look really promising.
 
I have had a 3 pack of royal limez in my freezer for 3yrs I also have a few packs I have had in the freezer for 18 months they are Ripper seeds zombie kush and double glock but I used to collect seeds but I have used them up over the years but I have popped seeds from the freezer that were 5 years old and they were still viable I store in rice in a sealed container it's addictive seed collecting I love it

That's where I was planning on getting some TW. I didn't know whether to grab the Arcata or the Tdub. I have no idea what we used to smoke 20 years ago. How much different are they? Lol I understand those can be tightly held commodities. A dozen mothers or do you just cut new each run? Do you use all of them or change a few out every run? I'm wondering how to get everyone fair playing time.
 
I don't have a table big enough to spread out all my seeds and take a picture.

I store the crosses I make in small tubes with airtight caps. Those go inside an airtight container with dessicant packs and into the refrigerator. Breeder packs go into the same airtight containers with dessicant packs.

The answer is a grow room not a tent
If I had to choose go with the T dub
