Seed collection popping after 5 years

Hey guys, been out of the game for 5 years or so now. I cant even start to remember where i purchased my seeds other than Attitude, or if some of the breeders are still around.

Due to demands i will be popping some seeds, also have not smoke about a couple of years now, whats better than smoking personal grow weeds. Who could be the winner...

Anyways, can anyone tell me where everyone buys seeds nowadays. And which breeder to look out for, Jaws, Bodhi, Dankanomics used to be my go to

Honesty just grow some of that gear you have. While growing those out look at the newer stuff. I'm running some of my old packs mixed in with some new new. I think the old packs I have are better than new stuff anyways. You got some stuff you could start your own seed company with lol

True i know some of those strains are long gone, reason i didnt grew them and at least replaced a good candididate for future. I have to get connected again with some old friends here who happens to have seed companys now, was thinking to let them grow it and work something out from there

Once you freeze seeds they should never be thawed until you plant them then never re-froze. I put 15 seeds of a strain I crossed in paper towel to sprout as they had sat in my desk drawer or in the safe for 8 years or something and all 15 sprouted and grew.

When you take your seed container out of the freezer it should sit out for 12 hours at least to get to room temp inside before opening so you don't get that condensation on the seed packs as it will get into some of the seeds. The most I would do to store seeds is keep them in the fridge then if there's a power failure they aren't thawing out just getting a bit warmer until the problem is fixed.

I hope they still germinate OK for you.

You look like you have some great genetics in there though must say it looks like they haven't been stored properly and have been exposed yo moisture. Did you just pull them out of a fridge/freezer and let them defrost or something?

Great Advice!
I got frozen beans over 30 yo that pop regularly.....I take them out and let them warm up to temps for 24 hrs before attempting to start.

No joke my son has a lot of the same packs. Is that purple voodoo bigworm? Do you have any info on that pure land raise?

People have given lots of good input on this thread. I'm also in the process of going thru a lot of older stuff. I had more recently gotten into fems because of the convenienceand it seems like a lot of the breeders the last few years have felt the same way (I see you have some 'Rado and he's mostly gone that way but he's probably got the best "value" I usually pick up a pack every few drops).

On a side note iused to keep my seeds in old film canisters in the freezer but my son taught me they store best in refrigerators nowadays as OMU pointed out. Best of luck buddy..

i recognize alot of those packs. I can tell you where you bought some. GLO seedbank for the IHG and csb seed for the jaws . Good stash im seeing those black cherry cookies from jaws..some of those THUG pug are worth a pretty penny too. Been awhile dude. Glad to see your back around.
