Thank you im just getting worried at this point- not because if them because of usps. They sent my order out like the 17th and it still ain't here. I have tracking on it & I was getting updates but now it's just said "in- transit arriving late". The last update was it arriving to teterboro NJ which is 20 mins from me and that was on Christmas. For 6 days now IT'S said "December 30, 2020
In Transit, Arriving Late" then under that it says "Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility." So why am I not getting any more updates? How would it be in- transit for 6 days when it's 20 mins away? ?
It is pretty common these days
My package needed to go thirty miles it traveled several hundred and took a week
Next package was here in two days
USPS is being sabotaged from the top down

USPS is a mess right now, I run a small business I had so many packages do the same this year, really under funded and overloaded system, i hope all those workers get a good break after the christmas crash is over.

We bay to Maine via Arizona is my most delayed. Politics thread. LOL.

The postman is still our friend.

Peace and less issues for all in the new year.

I bought a pack of Dying Breed from these guys because they're $50 cheaper than everyone else. Not one seed germinated, the pack is dead. I got another Dying Breed pack from a different seed bank and they all germinated.

I've emailed Seed Cellar and sent IG messages to the breeder at Dying Breed. Dying Breed is never going to reply. Seed Cellar says they've contacted him and will work something out with me one way or another. It's been 3 weeks since I first emailed them, and I haven't heard back in over a week now.

So at this point I would not recommend Seed Cellar or Dying Breed.

The message I got back from Dying Breed was that there was some problems with the details of my story which he wasn't going to go into. It's simple from my point of view. He offered to meet in Nor Cal but I'm in So Cal. I will email Seed Cellar again and tell them of this response.

Were really decent in person. Silence and inactive for issues or complaints online and don't answer the phone if not 517 area code. I avoid and will never suggest them again after my experience from afar.

I called them a few times to confirm the order, because that's what their email asks you to do. They didn't answer, but did call me back about 3 days later. Their correspondence is definitely not the fastest.

I'll keep y'all posted what happens next. I knew it was a dumb idea to order California seeds from Michigan. Saving $50 was not worth it at all.

I emailed. Nothing. I called from 213 in MI. Again nothing. Borrowed my father's phone of 517 and answered second ring. Took my complaint and info. Never replied. And I called upon hanging up with my phone for the conspiracy theory aspect. No answer.

Many friends are part of their co-op program. And all say old stock that was improperly stored. Mass purchase to start and no expected demand. Just my insight as being familiar to a greater extent than most. May have got a clue. I'll never know. On my no fly list for life now.

Good info, thanks. Old stock that was improperly stored is likely the cause of my problem then.

2 of 25 autos is an insult to me. I screw things up. But germ is almost perfect here. Almost $275 down the drain and F me after years of my father buying everything but seeds from them as a patient and my mother being an over spending sucker as a caregiver?

I wish them success. But they will fail as I've experienced. And honestly decent workers as interacted with in person. I would love a face to face with the owner. Just beware. And make friends. Best beans ever.

I've been getting a 100% germination rate and very uniform sprouts lately, since I've been putting them in the veg room to get some heat. You know the pack is dead when they don't sprout and leave brown stains on the paper towel.

Like most of us here, I have a ton of killer seeds already. So, while I'm not happy about it, one dead pack ain't gonna break me.

It was a kick just above the shin here.

I use and suggest water germ to ensure no micro root damage when moving. And a heating pad makes it too easy with a thermostat.

I've had mixed results with the float-tek method. Some have sprouted that way and some have not. I never tried a heating mat in conjunction with that method, though.
We should move the thread. But this is dead. Not popular vendor.

I have no name. What I have done for a long time. Clean my container with dish soap. Once dry I spray with 6% H2O2 and then fill with tap water. Place on a heat pad at 73F. Cover with a towel. 2-3 days and I've got tails.

I was already polluting the Seed Junky thread because someone asked what GAK was. I could post my own review here once I see what happens.

Our stories are out there now. First page giggle search. Let them lick their wounds and hopefully comeback healthier and more aware of own mortality in this age. I wish failure of honest pursuits to none. Fully support all supporting fair vendors. Unfortunate my facts are contrary to my desires.

Peace @seedcellar. I know of some commendable activities a few years ago.

I harbor no ill-will towards them either, stuff happens. They seem like nice people. Those seeds should be in cold storage, though. My other Dying Breed Lemon Mangoz plants are doing great, ready for transplant.

Also my bong just broke and I keep reaching for it. Ordering a new Cheech Glass one now!

I like to think if my bong breaks my memory will un-break. LOL. As I hold a display of ingestion methods over 20 years in a decent size tote.

That sucks! Acrylic tubes and glass stems are my proven.
