Seed and light question

Hay guys,

This is most likely a real silly question(s) but i've been reading this forum for ages and dont get the exact answer that i need before i buy..

Here goes...

Im gonna buy a new light..a 400w one, originally i was gonna get a MH bulb (pre-flower) and a HPS for bloom, a friend has advised me to get a Grolux sodium bulb as its colour adjusted to suit both seasons (veg and bloom)..what do u guys think of Grolux bulbs..should i get one or just go for a mh and hps..

Second silly question is about seeds..what would you guys recommend for an bubbleponics system..in the terms of indica or sativa, i,Ive a few strains in mind, most are hybrids but just not sure whats better for indoors!

Hello, im gonna make it simple.

#1 I Would pick 1x Mh and 1x HPS system if you can afford it (Both are better then a 2 in 1 bulb)

If your low on money a Grolux could do the almost same job.

#2 It all depend on space, what kind of high you want, Smell issues . So for this question i would like more details or maybe some will be able to suggest you with those info. (I just dont want to randomly answer something to look like i could answer)

Sorry about the lack of detail dude,thanks for the reply so far! My grow room will be about 3.5 foot wide, 3 foot deep and about 5.5ft high, a closet grow you could say, im gonna go bubbleponics and have 4 plants in a (approx) 8 gallon rubbermaid.

I agree with you on the lights, i plan to get both MH and HPS..just wasnt sure of the quality of the Grolux.

Smell is not really an issue, i enjoy different types of high but suppose 'couch lock' is what i am for..

I have tried most lights and i have not had a light produce like the h.p.s does take no notice get the hps.Works fine for both veg and flowering if you have ever been to dam then ask all the top growers whitch light that they use.Greenhouse h.p.s thc labs h.p.s these are the guys to listen too bro.Just download a few dvd's like i grow cronic h.p.s grow more buds h.p.s every grow room that he enters apart from one nunty that did not have a clue what he was doing.I have no dought in my mind that something will come out in the future but till then use h.p.s.You realy want your plants under flouresents till they have roots if cloneing then leave them a week or so then under the hps and away you go.

Hmmm, so u say HID all the way, i think ill stick to both, 400w should be sweet in my room and i think ill go for a mixed strain seed, mostly indica..
