Ever wondered why there aren't any American Cartels shooting themselves with the Army on the streets of US like there are in Mexico, Colombia, and many other places? Because instead of looking for cartels with fancy mexican names, in the US you have to look for the three letters: CIA, FBI, DEA, etc The war against drugs, isnt a war against drugs, is a war against competing drugdealers. Now, did you know that on top of cocaine, meth, and heroin all together, pot is the number one profit maker? A plant that could be available to everyone simply throwing some seed out your window, is sold by the gram sometimes even priced with high quality cocaine. So no, of course fucking of course NOT, they're not going to legalize it, and specially, very specially, they're not going to stop tracking us growers down, because we're their most dangerous competitor.

It's the one thing that's agreed on by Bush, Obama, democrats, republicans, and media moguls everywhere. If the economy gets bad, lower the interest rate, if that doesn't work, try stimulus spending. Any Keynesian will tell you, the only reason the economy isn't seeing improvement, is because we aren't spending enough. It's a bunch of crap, pretty much anyone can tell you that saving and investment is the way to create wealth.
