Second grow - second failure? What is going wrong?

I'm using dirt mixed with leca-gravel (basically it's burned clay, very commonly used around here), mix ratio about 70/30.
Leca is a gravel substitute used in railway construction...has no horticultural applications.

Very helpful answers, thanks!

I'm sorry, it's hard to explain in English about these things. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "medium". Yes, I read that vocabulary thread.

Anyway, gravel is mixed in to dirt to give soil fluffy construction. Soil mix I'm using is widely used by growers in Finland. Although I know it's not the best possible solution for young weeds.

Before transplanting I wanna pH test the soil. I try to get a proper pH-meter by tomorrow so I can measure the soil and the water I'm using.

1. check ph. should be 6.8
2.make sure ur not spraying with light on and no moisture on plants when light turns on.
3.raise light a foot then slowly bring back down.
4, check for bugs with scope
5. make sure soil isnt to acidic use fresh soil

That's a good start brotha! PH, soil, water are key to avoiding problems! I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and it has always done well for me! My best advice to you is get a few grows under your belt then mess around with mixing your own soil. JMHO hope your little ladies bounce back!

imo its way too small to show nutrient problems, i agree with bullwinkle, about your light
they look light green like they are lacking N , but they are too small and that soil looks ok to be a N problem this soon

i think your lights, and possible over watering, the damage is showing at the bottom older growth first,
but also the top new shoot looks weak, and slightly distorted it should have nice new little shoot at the top
i have seen this look at the top on cuttings that are under low level florescent that have been left too long under low level lighting or too close to it

peace

yeah I vote with switch soil...Check local places...there is a place by my house that makes their own organic soil...it is good and cheap and easy. I also use Fox Farms Ocean Forest. And when we say medium we mean what kind of soil, or rockwool, or hydro...what is your growing medium? Then again I have never been to finland and don't know how easy it is to find good soils.

I am definitely not the most experienced person here HOWEVER, I believe the Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect solution is based on a three part mix.

I could be wrong, but I always feed as recommended on bottles, I did a 1/1/1 mixture of Micro/Grow/Bloom and had no issues.

Hello all.

As the title says, this is my second time growing inside and my plants are starting show same symptoms as the plants in my first grow.

They are about three weeks old now and it seems that leafs are drying from bottom to top and all the grow has dramatically slowed down.

Strain: Lemon Kush
Lightning: 120 watt chinese LED panel + 125 watt flowering ESL
Temperature: In the night 60 to 65 ºF and day time 68 to 77 ºF.
Watering: Cycles of 3-6 days depending on the need of each plant.
Nutrients: Very small amounts of Advanced Nutriens Grow.
Nute burn...scratch my last posting I'll delete.
