The emergency blankets work great. Line the WHOLE inside of the case with it. I have reflective shit in my box, but mylar is the shit!! IMO, i would bust the flood lamp cover off the one light. All it is doing is soaking up lumens man. You want bate buld when it comes to cfl. 4" MAX away from the plant. Unless you want to induce a lil stretch on her just for growth and light exposier perposes.

I was thinking about doing that to the flood light but dont have the guts to risk messing the light up lol. but idk it takes a second to heat up i guess you would say but in the end it shines brighter than all the rest onto the plant because all the light is directly going to the plant I guess. But who knows lol, I plan on upgrading ALL the bulbs as I can to 40watt+

Idk where you live, but one of the three walmarts near me have 12 23w cfls for $9.00 right now. Ima snatchem up when i get paid on friday. But i wouldnt be worried about messi.g the light up when extracting the bulb ( bust the flood cover) but if its giving off good light, then just leave it. But DEF. repaint the walls until your mylar comes. You are losing SO much light with th green walls. Lust mt HO though. Lile i said in my post, i am not too experianced, i just know hp cfls wprk, but i have yet to flower to an ' actual ' crop. But the green walls are gonna KILL your grow outcome. Not your plant, but just the quality. Oeep it up man. +rep

Thanks for the input man and +rep to you also for your advice at least on here people give their $.02! Rollitup was down for me and I attempted posting on Grasscity and NOBODY replied HUNDREDS of views but not a SINGLE reply on TWO different threads. I have an update I'm about to post.

UPDATE DAY 9
I switched my grow from the PC case with the green inside to a smaller one with plain metal interior to hopefully help with reflecting until the emergency blankets come.
Moved my lights around and REALLY like the placement in this case much more, closer to the plant and the sides of the bulbs are exposed to the plant more so than the top which I heard is more effective.
First pic is right before I started switching everything over and the second is once I put her in her new home.
And once again
ALL INPUT IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED AND ALL SUGGESTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED

Plant is LOVING this new box already leaning more for the lights than she was and i can already see growth. Pics tomorrow at around the usual time!

ak48 is the cheapest i have came across i think, have a look on nirvana seeds, if its it your first time growing.

im loving this post and im doing my own thing atm, moment my plant has streched about 4" and is sitting about 3" under a CFL off a lamp that i just propped of and put a metal cooking pan on top as a light reflector :D preeetty sure its worst set up ever. but it was like OMG that thing sprouted?! so lets see if ic an get any :)

Are you doing it in a pc? Keep the lights CLOSE or it'll get tall like mine kinda did at first but i added more dirt. now i'm keeping the lights really close to promote it to grow bushy

UPDATE: Day 10
Eh kinda seeing some signs on my part that look like early signs of a male already... but i'm not sure yet i might just be paranoid. But it's growing well and my case is officially COMPLETE if you ask me, besides upgrading lights i'm content with my work. :bigjoint:So Imma go smoke one and upload some pics leave some feedback yall


The plant color looks weird because of the light but, first two pics are my box from the outside showing the inside and the duct work moving the heat out i changed the fan to the outside to allow for more room and in turn added some home made ducting to lower the light produced on the wall behind. The next two pics are just showing how it's growing and the last few are showing how I have the box hidden in our room.

nah, I think you are just seeing new leaf growth/formation.. waaay to early to even think about sex yet.. Let us just say she is still a virgin!

Quickupdate: Opened the case to make sure everything was doing okay and the leaves look like they've literally doubled in fatness. Wow this reflective stuff REALLY has increased the rate of growth by a lot.
And strain is possibly indica dominant

Just a quick update for day 12. Getting close to that two week mark. Anyone have any input on how it's looking? Also, one of the leaves touched a lightbulb and got burned :( just a tiny bit on the tip but still makes me sad lol. And the circle leaves (can't remember what they're caleld lol) Are starting to shrivel and fall off fnally. The stem is also starting to thicken quite a bit. Probably twice as thick as the last time I updated.

I was going to, and I removed one drive holder but then as I started building it I realized there was NOTHING for me to mount lights onto and the second drive holder was like riveted in so I decided it wasn't worth the time. And I've been looking into one for the next cab i build which will be either my new veg or my new flower chamber just depends what i end up deciding it best. Thank you for the input though much appreciated.
