Honestly I have had them at 600w for a while now and turning them up slightly .You have them cranked up to 1000 watts? Maybe try turning them down. The guy at the grow store likes them. He says you can dial em down or up. Down for veg and up for flower.
That looks like a teen or younger plant. Clones, babies and teens are pretty delicate and HIDs can fry em pretty easily.
Im using nutrifield coco+perlite mic. I hjave been using coco for about 4 years now and havent had any issues until I try to set up a sealed room with c02 and gavitas.ive seen this happen when ph was off in the medium. What is the run off ph and what are they in? Dirt?
Hmm maybe try exhausting the air in the room as the lights go off so they have fresh air at night when co2 is not needed. How close are the lights?Im using nutrifield coco+perlite mic. I am aware of ph and salt build up issues so thats the first thing I check. Ive just started watering them everyday now to see if that will help them bounce back. I checked the runoff about 3-4 days ago and it was a little high so I waterd them hard with a diluted rate of nutes and now I know I dont have any salt or ph issues because whats coming in is coming out. I hope this starting to water everyday snaps them back.
They are gavitas and they are in a 12ft room so 11ft for sure.Hmm maybe try exhausting the air in the room as the lights go off so they have fresh air at night when co2 is not needed. How close are the lights?
I thought about that, but wouldnt that be defeating the purpose of a sealed room? Ive heard something about that too maybe I should try to install an intake to turn on a couple mins every hour. Ive never tried to do it becasue mostly im scared of light leaks, and also im pretty sure sealed rooms run with no intake.Hmm maybe try exhausting the air in the room as the lights go off so they have fresh air at night when co2 is not needed. Like honestly in veg that dosent matter. I have rocked 70%-90% humidity for years and have had plants thriving.Humidity hitting 80%?!?
You need a better fan venting the room or A/C.
Bro im thinking something along these lines becasue I have some plants that are outdoor and are not having the issue.Looks like a sauna in there, environmental problem most likely too much heat for the relative humidity.
How are you adding c02? How is ppm counted? Do the plants seem to perk up at any time?Just switched my whole setup to a sealed room with Gavitas and c02 and start running into this issue.
I have some plant outdoor that its not happening too.
Yeah when they wake up lol.How are you adding c02? How is ppm counted? Do the plants seem to perk up at any time?
VPD is magic when managed well, totally. Gavitas are more trouble than they are worth, in my opinion, those bulbs get crazy hot. Good luck getting it dialed, looks pretty tight.Like honestly in veg that dosent matter. I have rocked 70%-90% humidity for years and have had plants thriving.
I usually go by the VPD chart. During the day humidity is like 40-60 then jumps at night.
yeah just curious if you we're using a burner or something.Yeah when they wake up lol.
I have a Titan controller and a 20lb tank.
I had it around 700-800
Im using Veg+Bloomyeah just curious if you we're using a burner or something.
That looks like some kind of root issue/ or wrong ratio / lockout issue to me. Care to post up watering cycles and nutrient program?
I also agree with these guys talking about vpd, The proper humidity and temps take a good deal of transpiration stress off plants under bright lights <where vpd matters mostView attachment 3776547
