Sealed grow room? I have read some big ops are sealed. Never seen one but want to try it. Any suggestions or experiance???
why would you want a room air sealed? how does that work with ventilation?Yeah air sealed. Some big tymers do this and have great results. I guess this site is full of newbies.
1-1.5 flowering cycles if you use during veg tooThank you DGambler. Finally someone who knows what their talking about!!!
I know most of it but I dont know about co2. never used it.
How long would a tank last in say 15X15 room? (The tall tank)
how do you know bigtymers do this with great results if you have never seen one and have only heard about it...Yeah air sealed. Some big tymers do this and have great results. I guess this site is full of newbies.
For small grows though it's a waste to build a sealed room for just a few plants.
My rooms are sealed then passive intakes are cut in,that way i can control where & how much air is comming in from other sources, the passive intakes coupled with powered exhausts keeps fresh air flowing very well,it also gives me the ability to know where any smell might come from if smell should leak out.
What is it exactly that you want to know about building a sealed room.
I'm in the process of setting up a sealed room now, with a sealed "air lock" entrance to keep in smells and out pathogens. I will cool with a mini split a/c, vent from veg to flower room in a loop with the scrubber on the flower side. Co2 will come from a generator, and be maintained at 1500 ppm via a gap controller.
I dont use co2 so the passive in an otherwise airtight room keeps all smell within the room,my exhaust is strong enough where if a leak does develope it will suck air instead of push air, negative pressure works just as well as active intake as long as co2 or climate are not an issue.I think you missed one thing...
seal it up airtight other than that
If you really want prime ventalation go with a forced intake rather than a passive one. other than that I think thats about all there is too it.
Oh yeah if you suppliment with co2 make sure your ppms are in the 1500 area with regulator and make sure the exhaust shuts off @ the time that the room fills.....
