Yeah, but then next year you will have to get another dog. Next thing you know, there will be a whole pack of them in your house. Who is going to buy all that dog food? That's a recipe for famine. Alternately, they may start trying to eat your neighbors thereby drawing unwanted attention to you. By whatever means, the seasonal dog guard needs to be re-homed at the end of the season.
re-homed? you're re-sponse is re-tarded..

I didn't mean you would get off scot-free of course but your not going to prison if someone trespass's on your property and get hurt. Considering you have Visible no trespassing/danger signs like I said. Yes booby traps are not ideal but what is the person who steped on it going to say oh yeah I was in this guys backyard over here trying to steal his plants and i stepped on a board with some nails in it. Even if say you did get busted those are cheap rabbit traps where i live. I did mention though that every circumstance with this would have a different outcome. But continue to tell me im wrong I've already looked into this. It matters where you live alot. No im not in Texas.

you said you have fam thats already gonna enjoy the benefits? have a fam member camp out there with a dog. setup motion lights, trip wires, maybe a fence if you can. so i cant setup boobytraps but i can shoot trespassers? make sense? gotta be a way to wire a motion sensor with an alarm that goes off in your bedroom. and just set up a few sensors. but sucks if animals keep setting it off...

Horseshit. Nobody is going to believe that nails in a board constitute a "rabbit trap". You will go to prison as a criminal and all of your titled property will be liquidated to pay both the compensatory and punitive damages awarded to the plaintiff in the civil case against you. ANYBODY that uses any kind of boobytrap in the United States of America is a malicious moron, end of story.

humorless? you serious?! that joke was about as funny as OP getting ripped. still laughing? i imagine only you laughed at your own joke, dumb fuck. re-home...good one!!

I found a second plant that wasnt completely snapped just a head bent way over, how do i save it
Use a little bit of painters tape and it should heal up fine.

Man, your situation isn't that impossible to solve if you know who the intruder is. You can't booby trap or have dogs of dubious ferociousness. That's more trouble than it's worth. Find out who this person is and then go to your local biker club with the photo and 1k in cash. They won't hurt the person for 1k, but they will scare the hell out of them. NOTE: You can't do this if you're in direct competition with the club. If you're just growing personal and for friends, get a picture and one grand and your worries are no more. Once you know who the person is... you can always send them crazy anonymous letters once a month for the next year to let them know you're still watching them. That should do the trick. Rippers and stoners in general will not like having muscle on them, or the threat of muscle. Everyone else is overthinking this.

Everyone seems to be confused by the fact that the OP is engaging in illegal activity and has no recourse to protection because the activity is illegal. This is simply not the case. You might be unable to ask for law enforcement, but you can sure as hell get enforcement. When engaging in illegal activities, sometimes you have to pay for illegal enforcement. Not a big deal. Not something out of the movies. It's just business. You just pay for enforcement. You have a lot more options if you're urban, but clubs are the way to go if you're rural. Don't go dragging innocent dogs into a human mess. Just set up a few cameras and go to the club. They'll know your legit because you're coming to them with a problem that positions you on their side of the law.

whats to say that club wants to rip you after you give up a thousand. lol sorry i dont trust any club or gang for the matter. dude needs his fam to keep eyes out, nothing more. threatening a scumbag canmake him irrational. motion lights and a fam member sitting in a tent for an extra nug is the way to go.

So i came home late tonight after being out for about 3 days..
i layed down w/ my girl for a few hours, felt like i should check up on my crop for some weird reason,
and once i walk through and my spotlight turns on, i hear somebody running away through my tall grass,
straight out of one of my crop spots. It didnt sound like a deer hopping away or any animal, it sounded like a person running for their life. I had a flashlight but it was still hard to see much since it was pitch black.(Spotlight is up on the hill alittle bit further up) I walk into my crop to find a head snapped off of one of my babygirls, it wasn't chewed on it was just straight snapped off, i'm thinking they didn't do it on purpose, but on accident when they heard me coming. There are very few that know about my grow.. basically just family living with me that wouldn't gain anything from stealing my shit because they will benefit from it anyway. There is one old p.o.s friend from last year that knows this particular spot. But I am still unsure. I just don't know why they would already be looking when it's not even flowering time yet :/
But i was just looking for ANY advice such as traps, security measures etc. Cheap and effective. I wish i could leave my Pit tied out on the runner all night waiting to rip somebody's face off but unfortunately i care and love my dog too much to leave her out like that. Just any advice on what any of you guys do to protect your crops would be helpful i suppose.. Just don't know what to do really and getting pretty pissed off about this. I never really had to worry about shit like this but i feel like this season I'm going to have to. Thank you for reading, any input would be great
I've said it before..leaving your crop outside=money outside..do you really expect it to be there when you get back?..this is why indoors works much better overall IMO.

*naval not a properly trained dog. even seeing eye dogs know better than to eat any food that is not their food, from their bowl, in the designated place and at the proper times.
Disagreeing with me just to be disagreeing. Have you nothing else to do?

Sorry, you can't shoot trespassers either. Good luck getting family members to camp out in your back yard.
