Scrog

Hi there,

I’m about to start another run trying scrog, I’ve never done it before so see how it goes.

my setup would be 3x3 tent. I’ve got adjustable ballst hps so can go from 250 up to 650, for cooling tube etc.

extractor fan and filter 6 inch

got two oscillation fans, small desk one and 10 inch one.

I’m thinking about adding 4 inch intake fan.

now I wonder how many plants I can fit in there, I was thinking to do 3 or 4, probably I’m more likely to go with four but I’m open to any suggestions.

also would you add anything to my setup?

Depends on pot size and how long you veg for. I could fill a 3x3 full with one plant vegged for 50-60 days or 4 plants vegged for 30 days in smaller pots. Do you plan on topping or anything like that.

Do you have fresh air intake. Other than that your set up sounds good.

No, I’m gonna get 4 inch intake. I was thinking 5 weeks Veg but no idea what pot size should I go with for them four

5 gallon would fill that net up in 30 days no problem. Just try an dial everything in and keep your watering habits in check and you’ll fill it up no problem are you growing in soil or coco or dwc I do soil you get quicker growth in the coco and dwc though

would agree, 2 times 5 gallon is the max i would go in a 3x3, just did myself.
if you want 4 maybe 4 times 3 gallons.

I wouldn’t do more than 2 plants in a 3x3 myself if using a scrog. I used to do 4 plants in a 3x9 but now only run 2 or 3 plants in that it gets so full. If going 4 plants then just lst and get a trellis to help with the branches as they get heavy.

In my 3'x4' tent I have (2) 5-gallon pots. The (2) plants are growing under (1) 450w LED in FFHF soil, getting top-dressed with FFOF using PH adjusted tap water; no added nutes. At week 9 the tent is full, plants are bushed-out with several nice colas developing. Don't try to overdo it. After harvest I'm switching to a 5'x5' with (2) 450w LEDs and using the 3'x4' for dedicated drying. In the 5'x5' I'll run (4) plants at a time in 3-gallon bags and allow them to spread-out more in veg stage. With fewer plants I spend less time and get bigger yields, but everyone's growing style and experience is different. People can hate all they want, just drive on and enjoy your rewards. Good luck.

How much do you guys pull out of 3 plants if u don’t mind me asking ?

after vegging these for about 45 to 50 days this net will be completely full and pull about 2 1/2 lbs to 3 if I have zero issues

these are pics from day 20 and 23 of the two sides each side will do roughly 2 1/2 each
I also noticed it helped the lower I could get my net I run the netting about 4-6 inches from the soil

What’s the size of the pot and growth area ?

The grow area is a room the net in total is 5x10 separated in the middle to have two 5x5 scrogs the pots are 20 gallon pots. I usually only run 8 but wanted to do ten to see how well it does

Can’t decide I want to do them four but I’m worries about the space if u all say that two is a max in there, I know it’s been mentioned that I could run four in smaller pots but I feel like running two in a bigger pot might give me same yield as four in smaller pots so I don’t really know. Or maybe just go with three.
