Scientists Unveil Missing Link In Evolution

I think it's pretty legit. Throw some skin and fur on that and it'll look pretty good. Stand it upright and it probably looks pretty human. Evolution is pretty big I dont know how someone could grow weed thinkin it's BS...this is one of the strongest most resilient plants in the world it certainly didnt start out like that. It evolved the way it did from cross breeding and climate changes...everything we introduce to our plants intentionally. Plus David Duchovany had that movie Evolution that was pretty good. lol. cool post

So, what did weed evolve from, grass?

without scientists and there way of logical thinking investigation and testing where would humanity be? science has given so much what has religion done for the world lately or ever. i think i will stick with the side that makes sense and actually solves problems and creates new things for us all. everything you use and do in your daily life involves technology developed by people smarter than any of us on this forum and the huge majority side with evolution as logical approach to understanding bio diversity on earth. people seem to hate to think there evolved from other animals or that there is life beyond this world it really is just human vanity and ego.

NAILED IT:hump:
we have always used science as a way to progress, now we've come so far with science, that it blatantly contradicts ridiculous beliefs such as intelligent design...so its a bad argument when people who dont believe in evolution to say that niether side knows for sure, because the theory of evolution is extremely more plausible, and logical...and on top of that...I know for a fact, evolution is what has gotten us here today...

yup yup thats crazy. u know humans used to have tails right? google "human tails" there are millions of people that have it around the world but they are secret about it

evolution huh

Why not. once upon a time there was grass and there was also a field where it couldn't grow so it decided to change something about itself that let it grow in that field, then it had to compete for light so it grew taller, then it had to become UV resistant so it evolved THC and so on.

same shit with monkeys, needed to see over tall grass so they began walking on their feet, since they now had free hands they could use their hands to carry tools and weapons, with the knowledge of creating tools and weapons out of nature came the idea that you can create other things that help you, then there comes a point where you have so much help from your knowledge you are far superior than anything else.

Edit: evolution is nature, competition to become better, once you find something that can be exploited you find a way to evolve to harness this exploit faster.
one example is the first land creatures which evolved from crab like water living (animals organisms w/e it is) because there was too much competition for food in the water they decided to move onto land where there was no competition for food. evolution is wanting to survive.

I read an article about the evolution of thc and trichomes, and you are 100% correct bro, thanks for pointing that out...

there are not very many plants that are very close to our cannabis, everything on our planet came here either by being put here or landed here from crap flying through space dont act like it doesnt happen our own recorded history is soo short, we on earth cant even imagine has anyone heard of lloyd pye? i saw this presentation he does where he talks about human origins check it out actually http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2669013599514568012&ei=dBkeStCuAZ2IqQO56bm-AQ&q=lloyd+pye

Umm, that does not look like a half monkey, half human to me, so it proves nothing. Until you can show me a half monkey half human, evolution is a hoax lol.

Hom36rown:

Firstly: I want to bang your avatar. She looks way to naughty for her own good....

Secondly: evolution, the theory of, the actual occurrence and anything Darwin proposed is not a hoax. Darwin was a brilliant man and he was right on the money. The most advantageous traits in a species will survive in that species, insuring the survival of the species as a whole. Un-advantageous traits will "evolve" out of the species for better traits. When the environment is no longer suitable for a species, that species will die out, to be replaced by a species better suited for that environment. Survival of the fittest can be seen everywhere you go. If you want proof of evolution, then study reports on fossil records. Paleantologist are uncovering daily, the "inbetween" forms of many species. Genetic inheritance is real. Genetic inheritance and genetic mutation make up the foundation supporting what Darwin established long ago.

To say that all of it is a hoax is to laugh blindly like a fool or crackhead at the last 150 years of scientific study in the area of evolution.

you best read up son!

Evolution guided by a higher consciousness.. we sure know the science on what things are made of, and a rough guess on how everything came to be.. but as you look at everything- it's so intricate, so intelligent.. it couldn't have happened by mere chance.

Einstein "God does not play dice with the Universe."

Max Planck (founder of the quantum theory) "All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force… We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter."

Quantum physics is incredible stuff. Imagining other plains of existence and extra dimensions is mind boggling to say the least. Then you look at the vastness of our universe, the trillions upon trillions of galaxies. All I can say is WTF?

This video is quite entertaining to watch whilst stoned. :-P

If Evolution is true, then how does it account for the fact that the formation of amino-acids from proteins, or dna from amino-acids would violate entropy? That is how can they account for the fact that the tendency of organized things is to break down and collapse into chaos, not form more complicated structures?

Evolution does not violate the second law of thermodynamics...the answer is very easy to find if you look. Seeing as there is a whole field called biological thermodynamics, I think we can be pretty sure thermodynamics and evolution are familiar with one another.

If organization of amino acids causes them to break down or destroy themselves, how does life exist? If this was a consistent occurrence then lifeforms would never develop.

I don't know... I haven't a clue about bio chemistry. Just making wild guesses.

Whoa. How the hell do they know that our universe is 47Billion lightyears in radius?

Thanks for the video though, it blew my fucking mind, but I am quite high :weed::-P:-P
I wonder if the cannabis genus exists on other planets in the universe? Lmao.

Evoltution vs creationism, jesus crist on a stick it's 2009 people. All this might prove is germany is the fatherland so hitler may have had one thing right.

I can just picture little lemur nazi's walking with the dinosaurs and trying to figure out how to exterminate them. That explains what happened to the dinosaurs.

An interesting read this thread has been. So many ideas & theories...if humanity works together we can find the answers I'm sure.

It took millions and millions of years for evolution to do it's thing... not in just the blink of life that humans have been around. I don't think the evolution doubters truly grasp how long a million years is. But yeah, religion seems like the more logical answer because it's so fact based.

Assumption is the mother of all mistakes btw.

My god is better than your god, lets kill each other because of it. Meanwhile, the monkeys will take over and evolve into the Bush family all over again.
