Some of that comes from the fact that I'm a professional photographer which is how I see the world and on that note you do a great job capturing the plants, especially the parts related to the genetics, would make a kick ass book on breeding and selecting! Hats off!

Those babies are vigorous.They couldn't wait to jump out their shell.
I think I'm gonna start poppin' full packs too.Easier and more efficient to hunt thru as well as not having half packs left and trying to keep clones of what pheno you like of the strain until you can get to the rest of the beans in said pack.

I've always popped full packs of reg beans. I would be worried if I only grew out half of the pack. If I got the losing phenos in the first half, I wouldn't want to give the time to the un-popped half of the pack. While it could contain a killer plant, having spent months growing out the first half only to see mediocre plants would put me off of the other half.

bean popping has slipped back another run or two.

FUN part is,,,, I own the "name that pony" strain outright...She gets first pop....like 30 some beans...

I could not have those my little pony packs around my daughter! She would ball her eyes out until she hit them thinking they were here.
I wonder how the creators(?) of the cartoon would feel about that canna packaging.
You think if they made a fuss of it,the breeder would have to change their packaging?
Can they sue? Pity if they could.

It would be hard.... SmellBoat is only on Instagram.... My Little Pony is an off shoot that does special projects... These are all from auction sales - The 2 actual smell boat's are gifts from the breeder.
The MLP labels are then only applied to special sales and only the buyer gets them that way.

Who's gunna fuss about it? Not like GG eh?

Here is a female Christmas Tree Bud in early flower. Since this line has been inbred for about 40 years, they all pretty much came out looking like these stumpy wonders of frosted pinesol. I used a male CTB for the pollination, but I'm trying to give an idea of what the females look like.

The Chem Kesey is a leggier plant that requires some support later in flower, and I wanted the stout CTB to tighten up the structure. Hopefully, there is a less stretchy, more piney, Chem hashplant with the buzzsaw effect in these beans.
