Schedule 1 no more?

Woah, can you elaborate? I didnt read about that in the latest articles today.
The penalties in some jurisdictions are based on the drug "class", with schedule 1 receiving the most severe penalties.

The biggest effect will likely be banking and research; it's a long overdue common-sense reclassification.

It was bizarre that it was both medically prescribed in most states while at the same time, still classified as the most heinous, no medicinal use category; both can't be true.

Ok, just trippin a little its a major change and I dont understand it all but to my credit I saw laywers say a lot of politicians dont even get it how it stamds right now.

I live with roomates and just started growing but none of us are cool with ppl being put away for it. If I saw that Id shut it down but never been so convinced we’re almost there.

Heck today should be good news. Need to dab and relax lol.

It's a step in the right direction, in the sense we had something, they took away our right to it, penalized us, labeled us as criminals, and they are now ready to let us be taxed by them to have access to it.

I'm not one for compromise.

I just hope they leave home growers be. If they dont Im still shutting down, system is crazy. When first starting out we thought legal was legal but then major progress was made and here we are today.

So its staying up for now! At this point itd be bigger news if they decided to take it away.

Texas!!
Hemp is the key...to growing in the state.
.3% THC
29% THCA
100% Legal

However, I Am...waiting til Sept. The 60 day response period will be over. IF they reschedule...
I will ride the wave on the black market side.

Hopefully Putin doesn't fuck up the conversation.

My sentiments exactly. I already have a license to manufacture hemp products in Texas. If they keep THCa legal, I'm gonna get a growers license and see if I can get at least one plant tested.

Dan Patrick might outlaw THCA...
I know about it...
I hope he doesnt...but I cant control it

right now, we are at $200 per Zip
Its looking like $100 per Zip is the move the streets want...but the dealers are going to suffer if We go under $200 -$300 an ounce

I just realized cant find an actual answer for how this will effect extracts. Simply what the punishments for making sched 3 says? It was sched 1 but with enhanced penaltys for that.

My understanding is that schedule 3 drugs/medicines are "pharmacist only" drugs. They're made by official pharmaceutical companies and handled/monitored by pharmacists.

To put it simply, this is relatiely uncharted legislative territory. I wouldn't even know where to begin looking at caselaw or legal president, but if the status quo remains, it's still going to be federally illegal to grow at home, period.

Right so theres penalties for that but does it change anything about how it used to be sched 1 but if you extract its double the punishment. Does that change? Its a 5-10 yr difference. If its sched 3 is it just whatever the consequences for those are which is less harsh last I checked to even growing flower.

Thats nuts I see so much updates of it being descheduled possibly soon. But some remain less optimistic but things are changing. No one aas expecting the sched 3 change. Or the pardons.

Schedule 3 drugs are big pharma drugs. It puts all home growing at risk at a state and federal level.

Yea but everyones saying its just matter of time before its descheduled. That this is a good step forward not far but still progress. I take that as they probably wont apply that over to the sched 3 consequences just fit it under mfg a sched 3 substance.
