Well outsidegrower, I'm a little late seeing this thread so you may have long since taken the plunge (or not), but here's my take on Stuporsonic. I grew it outside in 2007 in eastern Canada at roughly 44 degrees north latitude. I don't know where you are, or if you plan on growing it indoors or out, but obviously there are better climates than mine; maybe you're lucky enough to be in one of them. To be fair, that was a really good season here, but anyway, it finished wonderfully. I don't know about 1/2 lb per plant - more like 120-160g apiece, though you definitely won't get this inside. But in my opinion, it was well worth it. There was a fair amount of difference in the plants I grew - some finishing quite a bit earlier than others, and some leaning even farther into the sativa buzz than others(all the stuff that finished earlier), but it was all really good. The early stuff finished in early September, the latter stuff I let go until between late September and the first week of October, though I may have let those ones go too long. Sure, I've smoked better, but because of the type of buzz, I really loved this strain. I honestly don't smoke indica, or even indica leaning strains at all. And since I grew Stuporsonic, it's all I've smoked. It has a beautiful flavor that is completely unique, and everyone who got any of it always commented on how awesome it tasted. It also didn't mold as bad as some of my stuff that year either, and I had 4 other strains in the same areas where I had the Stuporsonic. I wound up in jail early last year after getting pinched with 650g of pot through some random circumstances I had little control over, so didn't get a chance to grow last year, but I have seeds on their way now. I don't smoke a lot, but I want to have Stuporsonic on hand when I want to. I'm growing other stuff too, but this is for me. If you haven't bought any yet, I would seriously recommend it. Buzz, I'd give Stuporsonic an 8 out of 10. Taste, a definite 10 - and if you dry it out to bone dry and cure it for 2-3 months and then rehumidify it for smoking, it gets even better tasting, and - believe it or not - it becomes more potent. I've heard curing can do this, but until that season never believed it could be possible, but it is. The comedown isn't terrible either - something else that I consider as a factor. It creeps on over about 15 minutes or maybe a little more, and doesn't drop off quickly leaving you feeling burnt, but gradually wears off, with less of a burnout than a lot of strains. As far as overall quality, I'd give this strain a solid 9 out of 10. So there's my take, for what it's worth.
