She's a little weird, I have NEVER seen this before.
Turning her leaves, like she's trying to get satellite tv, or something lmao.

I've had plants do this, to me.... it's a sign of high vigor. She's trying to capture every little bit of light and/or air movement. Plants do move their leaves, but everything they do comes at the cost of energy. So if she looks like yours does and she's delegating stored energy to maximize her setting with leaf movements, that plant has very high vigor. Keep an eye on her, she will exceed your expectations.

I think it was just cause of the right angle to the fan, I moved 'em all around and none of 'em is disco dancing anymore.
Some of these babes are really thriving tho. A topped one still outgrew all the others and the stem is as thick as my thumb.
Makes me wanna keep her as a mother, but sadly: no room for that.
(:

Makes sense with the fan being so close. I've had horrible luck in the past with wind burn so I always keep my fans blowing over tops, or indirectly and just bounce it all around. But it's easier to do that in a 4x8.
I love the fat trunk ones! Gotta white mendo atm that's like that, at least double what the all the others are.
I'm quick to cull tho, mabey too quick. And I'm even worst with taking clones. I have to see them flower out first before I ever consider cloning. Space is at a premium for me too.

Reactor Data:
  • Lights: 40cm / 15"
  • Power: 520W (60%)
  • PPFD: ~700 umol
  • Temp Day: 25°C
  • Temp Leaf: 22°C
  • Temp Night: 19°C
  • RH: 50%
They look quiet happy, carefully ramping up the power week by week now. View attachment 5448378
Nice!

I'm curious how do you measure leaf temperature? An expensive infrared camera (500$) has an accuracy of +- 3F so I'm curious on what you use?

The cheap infrared thermometers may differ even more. If you need a proper and accurate camera we're talking 4000-8000$.

If you want a somewhat accurate and affordable solution it needs to be active with a leaf thermocouple solution. That's pretty tedious to use in practice.

Bosch IR Thermometer
I figured it can't be too bad, if the skin temp is quiet accurate.

Just have in mind that it's only accurate to +-1.8C. It can still be used as a reference.

Be sure to measure at the same distance everytime to get a more accurate reading.

Cheers!
100% the only thing i can add to that is, take multiple scans of multiple plants. Average everything out- you'll notice multiple plants will have different values. Usually only a miniscule variance from each other, but the more info you have, the better your corrections and/or adjustments
