damn bro those girls are getting huge!

looking great, hows those clones doing?
Really great! The time wreck is the best looking by just a bit over the AOxQuerkle, both are looking great! The vortex is a bit slower growing but very promising looking! Trying to keep an even canopy on those and might install a scrog screen on the vortex like nugbuckets did! :D

Plants are looking great! They're starting to really get settled into their homes and take hold into the super soil! I'm trying to hack back a little at Vivian to give Phoebe a fighting chance, I always root for the under dog ;). I really just need to figure out how to work out a scrog for both Vanessa and Vivian, the two vortexes. I'm thinking just four wooden posts around them and some rabbit fencing stretched out over them, thoughts? It doesn't have to be mobile, but preferably it would have to be low key so the plants could blend into the surrounding foliage a bit. Anyways here's some pics, no veggies this time :( but got my baby protecting and posing :hump:

First off, picture of my bike, just after I finished shredding a 9 mile trail ride!

Hehe, she's awesome! We adopted her last thanksgiving :D. Just you wait, if all goes well they seem to grow at an exponential rate, the older the get the faster they grow! I imagine this is because of the more established root system and more leaves absorbing sunlight aka more energy for the plant. No signs of mites yet I'm happy

hey brandon, looking great bro! Those things are going to be crazy big!
Thanks for stopping by man! Yeah I'm a little scared about that lol, I just keep telling myself if I manage the canopy over time as it grows I can keep them the size I want, but we'll see how that goes lol. Only my second time growing

Hey Brando Boy! I love your pictures. Your girls are looking so perky and SATIVA! sweet sweet. You must be so proud of your accomplishments. You have my dream garden. They looks so perfuect. I also love the doggie shot. I remember when you got him when he was just a pup! He has grown into such a beautiufl doggie.
and what a cool guard dog. I can tell he loves you dearly and totally respects your girls. Congratualtions on your acceptance to the college . you are going to have the time of your life. Im sooo excited for you. Please keep in touch . Love your new bike as well. i will have to show you a picture of mine. Maybe one day we can blaze it up and down the trail togheter. that would be so fun!
Have you thought about a timed irragation drip water system for the girls while you are away.? It wwould be a shame to loose such an amazing crop.
take care sweetie!

Thanks for all the kind words Amber :D My girl Adelle is very unique, I've never met a dog with the same personality as her, she's playful and loving but protective but in her own way. A few times she has nipped a top off a branch but she has learned that I don't like her doing that haha . I have timed irrigation on them right now, but I still like to water them every 3 days or so as they dry out so I can get a solid soak on the soil. After I move I'll be close enough to come home every other week or so, but my parents will take care of my babies very well as they mean smoke for them too lol! I'm still waiting on my bike shorts to come, my ass is super bruised hahaha  If I'm ever in Az I'll definitely shoot you a pm . We can burn on some vortex before hitting the trails :D

Hey guys, sorry it has been so long since I have made a post. Things have just been so busy in my life lately making important decisions without ample time and working seven days a week. The plants are looking fantastic! I have been spraying them with Caterpillar killer about every 3 days to combat the possibility of bud worms. I haven't seen any mites so far and I have not used any azamax this season either. I will be doing some as preventative measures because I don't want the stress of an infestation as flowering sets in. I'll take some new pics soon, these ones are from June 27, lol :-P. I still need to clean the bottoms of them out a bit... anyways here's this for now. The Vortex clone I received and had in a 20 gallon smart pot was stolen by a fucking retarded thief who cut it down in veg. The timewreck and QuerklexAgent Orange have both been moved to a separate location due to safety reasons.

Good to see everything is all good, (well almost everything atleast) and green.

How tall are they? also did you have to dig up and move a shitload of supersoil?

Thanks everyone for the courteous comments  I really love going and just hanging out by them lol, they're so huge they put my RD and DV last year to shame!!! Right now they're probably 6-7 ft tall, but bushy. In the pics above they're probably around 4 ft, those posts are about 4 ft but are higher up than them. I need to get some more pics soon, but 60 hrs a week is really taking a toll on me, plus I'm still trying to have a social life lol. Yea bud I'm moving before they're going to be harvested but we definitely do!!! What do you mean dig up a bunch of SS Favre? the one that got stolen was in a smart pot but I haven't done anything with the soil, been too busy. I'm giving these plants very little care compared to how I treated my girls last year, but then again I'm like twice as busy, luckily much more prepared :wall:

Hey all, this afternoon I snapped a few pics of the gals during my after work burn sesh. Low quality, I took them with my phone and the capture image button is kind of broken so I couldn't focus lol

The plants are looking great! They are huge compared to last year's, so they're a bit harder to spray down and get good pictures. I have been feeding them molasses with their water every morning and they are really beginning to stink :D! No signs of mites or bud worms thus far so I may be done with spraying as well. All of the girls have a nice fade going and I am debating on whether or not to feed them anything or let the Super Soil work it's magic with my molasses.... :wall: Opinions? I'll try to update some more pics soon. I've finished my internship :D. Sorry I d

Group shot left to right: Phoebe, Vivian, Vanessa Second group shot pic was taken 8/21

Vanessa
Vanessa has really been doing well this past month, I think it has something to do with the fact she has her own hole. Her stalks are so thick compared to the other two girls, each one of her arms are like one of my last year's plants! Vanessa has really blown me away with her early resin production compared to the other two girls, each of the smaller sugar leaves are COATED with trichomes as well as the calyxes that are beginning to swell in these pics. The stems of her fan leaves are all turning bright burgundy colors and she smells fantastically sweet. This is the plant I'm most excited for

This picture was taken 8/21, growing daily! Bad pic but you can see the frostiness! :leaf:

Vivian
Vivian is a very clumsy girl. The hole her and Phoebe are sharing doesn't have as good of drainage as Vanessa's home so I water it every other day. Early on when I didn't realize this, Vivian almost fell over on herself, so now she is a huge bush that is leaning forward on herself lol, has me a little worried. She is nowhere near as resinous as Vivian is, but the bud's she is beginning to stack are like nice long spears. No red stems on this gal either. Her stems are also a lot more flimsy than her sister Vanessa. I wonder what characteristics of Vivian that differ from Vanessa are based on her environment (hole with poor drainage, sharing a hole with plant) rather than phenotypical variance. Hmm....

Phoebe
Phoebe is really starting to catch up with Vivian, although Vanessa has them both beat in size. With her wide, short leaves she reaches up towards the sky in an effort to compete for sun with Vivian. She is much less bushy than the other two Vortex's, but her stems seem much more brittle and strong. The buds on her seem a lot chunkier, and appear to be growing in long, thick spears similar to Vivian. I'm really hoping she turns purple/pink, but so far it does not look like it :( all white pistils and no coloring on stems for this baby
. We'll see what she does in the next few weeks, I may even toss some ice in her water before watering come September to try to force a little magenta out!
