I would be interested in a pair CuNi plates !

Yea the plates are pretty cool, that's where I will spend money when I have some. All the pre-made presses are just shop equipment with custom plates, why not save some cash and use your own arbor press or vise? I couldn't quote a price, but I think they are around $100 maybe a little more? I know all the people who have them are happy and the guy is super helpful with custom builds. There's lots more talk here:

Well I'm not really affiliated with the maker, but here's a link to his profile on the forum I know him from

and a picture of the stock he uses to make the plates, for fun

If you can't get in touch with him I can message him there for contact info for you.

Yes, it works well. Some tips I'd offer anyone considering one is to clamp it down onto a solid surface like a cinderblock. The plate temps fluctuate but when set to ~250-260 they seem to stay within range (~180-200F) for the most part. I'd say it presses about 1g at a time, compressing it before hand is a benefit, but try for too much more than that and it will leak out the side and spread plant material. No real complaints regarding the unit itself, the plates heat up pretty quick, and I believe you can hook the heating elements to be a e-nail (or d-nail,idk).

Those arbor presses are pretty cheap and great power for the job, the box raises some concerns though. They state "Heat adjustable from room temp-500 deg and up to 2000lbs of pressure." Then show this chart

Well if max is 500deg, and that equals 130-150, that's not enough IMO. I would definitely ask for clarification on that one before dropping $600, I think the box is most of the cost, the arbor press is under $100 for a good one.

Squished out some Clementine (Lemon skunk x Tangie) dry sift rosin. The sift was nearly full melt but I couldn't help but to squish it.

Taste is on point orange lemons.......Day time smoke and a big yielder.

What is the desired temp? I thought it was like 200?
