Hey purp, sorry to hound you again with a mindless question but I needs your help. Okay so I am going to be leaving town for three days in late may. My plants should be in flowering at that time in my bp. system. will they be okay while im gone? I plan on doing a res. change the day I leave, new nutes, and setting the system up with optimum PH. any other recommendations?:confused:

Yes, a clone transferred to THE System works well, just rince every grain of soil off of it first.
Hey Roseman or Purpdaddy, I have planted my plants into my BP System today, and I have a question? I have read that I can do a 18/6 light schedule or I can go 24/7 for my veg, stage. What would either of you recommend doing? And I figured I would keep the lights up for a day or so to let the plants settle after the transplant and then keep them 2'' inches away after that. If I don't here from either of you tonight I have my lights set up for an 18/6 schedule, till I here your ideas. Thanks guys:weed:

you mean 24/0..its aight newb mistake,,but i got my hid on 24/0 and they veggin right now,i always grew under 18/6 but i hear and see that 24/0 is better, thats if you dont have a problem with heat! You can very well go 24/0 for veg stage but during flower i wouldnt mess with it too much..12/12 or 13/11.you gotta pick one and stick to it cause you can confuse the plants during flower like that!PuRp

Yeah a newb I am LOL. The only concern that I would have, with my newb experience, would be that the long light periods might tire a plant, where as the 18/6 schedule kind of gives the plants time to chill and eat while getting sum shut eye, if you get me....whats your opinion?

Hey is it good for the Humidity to go from 72% to 35% like within 15 min? I have a humidifier and its on a timer goes to about 70% and then when its off it goes to about 35% sometimes less and its frustrating... Is it good at all? would it stress the plants?

just do as much venting and ducting work possible to minimize the gegree of heat in there...fans are very necessary for a couple reasons!.Its about 85.farenheigt in my spot.i want to get one of those mini airconditioners to put in there.optimal growing conditions is 75-78 farenheigt.
Put a window unit in there!

hey what if my plants stay around 46% humidity normally and then end up with a humidity of 25% or lower and stay there for a day?

Okay, I can't put an air conditioner on my cab, no room. My temps are fucking high and its really starting to piss me the fuck off:evil: The temps are upwards of 85 and won't go down. I have two fans in there blowing air around. One is directly blowing on the lights. I have a small fan exhausting some air out. I might have to invest in an inline duct fan or something. I am worried that my water is too warm and my plants aren't very happy. What are your suggestions? PLEASE HELP ME.....im stressed and have no grass.......:confused::confused:

that is what my temp is at all times or 90 degrees,Just think of how hot it is outside on a summerday!add more fans if you have to or install a window airconditioning unit.

Okay, I went and bought a cheap little duct fan. It seems to blow alot harder than the one before so we'll see. It just seems that the water temps should be a little lower. If it doesn't change, fuck it im rollin with it.....

You dont have to spray the tub at all,i never have, never seen or heard of it being done anywhere. You need reflective surroundings(walls,etc...)

Hey I read some threads on here about people doing that.
Whats the reason for it?
