I don't think many realize what that section is like on Superstar, it's a rollover to steep and it is dark, flat light. Some of the most fun spring bumps though' It turns into vw bugs. You can look like a hero under the lift or a zero.
It would have been nice for her to win that in vt.
And the course is at its worst if you are the last one to run.
Superstar really makes you work.

I may have an addiction to tree skiing but there is nothing like early morning turns on a groomed superstar or outer limits with no bumps. The best west coast comparison is Shirley Lake Express doing laps of cod slalom. midweek.
Not me.
Trees don't move like gates and poles.
Powder is instant death to me. My skiing ski ability comes from my thousands of hours ice skating. I shift weight from foot to foot and in powder that causes one thing.
Give me a nice GS course over rolling hills. One of my fun memories at Mt Snow during the week no one was on a green trail from top to bottom. The lift to the top was longer than the duration to get back to lift. Green trails taken at full tilt on GS skis are a blast.

It's just like spreading butter on toast.......don't scrape the toast

I try to stick to the trees myself.
